I'm using the iPhoto beta version of FlickrExport (3.0.0b25) and would like to report the following bug:

When you try to delete the contents of the "Scale longest size to" box, you can't delete the existing contents (although you can overwrite by selecting then typing). If you try to delete, you get down to one character, then that can't be deleted.

Hi, I just purchased the FlickrExport plugin however I have encountered a problem with logging in and authorising FlickrExport in Flicker, prior to being able to Export photos, as follows...

1. I selected the photos for export from iPhoto to Flickr.
2. In the FlickrExport window within iPhoto I hit 'Export', then 'Authorise' which prompted me to log into the Flickr account, and authorise FlickrExport.
3. I successfully logged into my Flickr account, and hit the 'OK, I'll allow it' button and received the subsequent message from Flickr that I had successfully authorised FlickrExport for iPhoto2.
4. I went back to iPhoto and hit 'continue' resulting in the FlickrExport window showing me as successfully logged in: 'Logged in as MHandJK'.
5. I then hit 'Export' and received the "invalid frob" (Code: 108) error message.
6. I've then repeated multiple times the above, each time de-authorising FlickrExport from my Flickr permissions, so as to start afresh each time.

Frustrated. Please advise how to resolve this.

Geocoded jpeg2000 images are not placed on maps correctly when uploaded. I didn't check to see what happens with other IPTC data.

Upload same image with houdageo does place image on a map, but using geo:tags instead of flickrs inspection of image metadata.

This web site will not allow a jp2 upload. the attached file is a jpeg2000 with a .jpg extension. You will have to download and rename it to make it work.

FlickrExport 3.0b25 for iPhoto doesn't upload photos in the correct order that I arrange them prior to upload. FlickrExport 2.0.15 for iPhoto does. 3.0b25 seems to upload photos in the order by which it pleases, rather than the order I have arranged for photos to be uploaded in.

I'm currently geotagging my pictures using HoudahGeo, before importing them into iPhoto.
I've noticed an issue with a few pictures, notably ones taken near the Greenwich Meridian.

After tagging an image, in iPhoto the location shows as
51 deg 30' 13.88 N
0 deg 0' 28.62 W

That looks about right to me, i.e. just to the West of the Meridian, on dry land.

When I go to FlickrExport and check the photo location it shows as
Lat: 51.503857
Lon: 0.007949
That seems to be to the East of the meridian, (in the middle of the Thames!) i.e. it ought to be -0.007949

I suspect this is caused by the EXIF data being put in by HoudahGeo not having a GPSLongitudeRef entry, just a GPSLongitude. There's a Ref entry for altitude but not for Long or Lat. I'll ask them about that.

According to the Exif inspector in Photoshop, the entries are
GPSLatitude 51,30.23
GPSLongitude 0,0.48

However, it would appear that FlickrExport and iPhoto are interpreting the data differently, with iPhoto showing the reading to the West and FE showing it to the East, which is inconsistent.

I'll ask the HoudahGeo folks why they're not giving a GPSLongitudeRef as having that may fix it, but I thought I'd raise that iPhoto and FlickrExport are interpreting the same data differently.

Edited to add: I've just re-run the workflow and HoudahGeo is definitely putting the wrong location in the EXIF, Preview's "locate" shows the wrong location too, and further examination of the EXIF shows an "E" tagged on on the end of the Longitude.

I had a beta of FlickrExport installed and wanted to export a jpg to my local file system, but since the FlickrExport tab was selected in the export dialog, my only choice was go to the website or cancel. It was most annoying. I can understand disabling any and all functionality in the FlickrExport tab, but preventing me from doing ANYTHING at all was most annoying.

From iPhoto, FlickrExporter is the default (i.e., last selected) option. With the license expires, a modal panel pops up. On either selection ("ok" or "visit site") the Export panel is dismissed, so I can't access my other Export options at all!

I just purchased FlickrExport for iPhoto. I was able to "authorize" its use on my Flickr page. FlickrExport then seemed to be happy until I then clicked on Export. The following message came up:

"FlickrExport was unable to log into Flickr because of the following error: "Invalid frob" (Code: 108).

Please ensure that you have correctly logged into Flickr in your web browser and authorised FlickrExport to use your account. Please note that you have to click a button on the Flickr web page before FlickrExport will be correctly authorised."

No matter how many times I repeated the process, I kept getting this same message. Please help!

The Export status bar doesn't seem to be animating during the "Checking that the photo arrived" portion of the export (and a few steps immediately following). It often seems like FlickrExport is hanging on this step, when in fact it may just be taking a while to "check."

It would be nice to have a more helpful (and responsive) "check" at this stage of the export.
