Aperture is crashing during export using b23. I am exporting Raw images from an EOS 40D and Aperture is crashing with no warning or error message each time this is repeated.

The OS is 10.5.2 and Aperture is version 2.1 with b23 installed.

FlickrExport b24 has expired.

On export, when I choose the safety level of the the images, they wind up on flickr page with my account default of "safe" regardless of their settings in the FlickrExport app. Similarly, "hide from public search" doesn't record either.

This was not a problem with b23

I have the following keyword structure:

Photo specs/Image type/Outdoor
Photo specs/Image type/Indoor

I tag all images as either "Outdoor" or "Indoor"

I have FlickrExport set to "Fill Flickr tags from: Full Aperture Keyword Hierarchy" because I have other people/animal/thing trees that I want to be fully populated. But I do not want "Photo specs" or "Image type" to be in the Flickr tags, because these are not informative, they're just organizational.

I put "Photo specs" and "Image type" in the Tags > Aperture Keyword Hiding list, and left the "Omit child keywords of keywords in this list" box UNCHECKED because I didn't want it to kill the "Outdoor" or "Indoor" keywords.

That doesn't seem to work. I get "Photo specs" and "Image type" in my Flickr tag list.

If I check the "Omit child keywords of keywords in this list" box, "Photo specs" and "Image type" are gone, but so are "Outdoor" and "Indoor" (as expected).

I think I see what is happening is that you're just iterating through the keywords provided (that is, before building their trees according to the "Full Aperture Keyword Hierarchy" preference). So "Photo specs" and "Image type" aren't in the list yet. In the case that the "Omit child keywords of keywords in this list" box is CHECKED, you must be building the tree to see if a parent keyword has been blocked.

Better: if the "Full Aperture Keyword Hierarchy" preference is enabled, you must build the parent keyword tree before checking for omitted keywords.

FlickrExport for Aperture (3.0.0b25) doesn't seem to be ignoring the tags/keywords that have been set to be ignored when uploading. Even though I have my top-level keywords (and a few second and third level) like 'Hardware', 'Photo specs', and so on in the 'ignore these' field (I forget the exact nomenclature, Aperture's busy uploading right now), they keep appearing on Flickr.

While exporting a batch of photos last night, the export process got stuck at "Checking that the photo arrived..." at about 11pm. At 6:30am it's still sitting there and I can't cancel the task or quit Aperture.

I found the following in Console.app:
7/8/08 11:02:51 PM Aperture[5521] FKPhotoUploadRequest processCheckTicketResponse logged the following error: Sorry, the Flickr API service is not currently available.

I just had to force-quit Aperture, which gives me the heebie-jeebies.

Aperture 2.1, OS X 10.5.4, FlickrExport 3.0.0b25 for Aperture.

In the past couple of days I can't get flickr export to work properly - when I upload it firstly says that no photos were uploaded - when they are - and it then tells me that the link between flickr and flickr export has been broken. It does upload the photo but doesn't add it into any group I've chosen on FE.
I can't find a way to reinstate this link. I haven't changed any username or password and would love to have it working properly again - it's saved me hours. I love it - when it's working properly.
