Aperture 2.1.4, FlickrExport 3.0.2: export stalled, "API service is currently not available"
My FlickrExport process has stalled showing "Checking that the photo arrived" in the Activity window.
My Console log shows:
Oct 12 02:05:03 mp-steveh Aperture[26117]: FKPhotoUploadRequest processCheckTicketResponse logged the following error: Sorry, the Flickr API service is not currently available.
Might it be that Flickr went offline for 2AM Sunday maintenance during the midst of an export operation? Looks like FlickrExport detected the problem but didn't have a way to recover.
It didn't hang or crash Aperture but I'm not able to initiate another export operation - neither via FlickrExport nor any other export plugin - while this operation is stalled.

Inappropriate?Really sorry about this. I'm aware that this is a weak spot in FlickrExport and it's scheduled to be rewritten in the FlickrExport 3.5 time frame.
I'm aware this is unacceptable, but the only way to recover from this is to force-quit Aperture.
I’m sorry
