Better privacy settings?
I love FlickrExport, and would like to be able to be confident that I'm not posting my camera or lens serial number with some of the shots I take. Right now, as I understand it, I can either post no metadata (export settings in Aperture) or all. I understand from reading the forum that FlickrExport passes through the metadata that Aperture includes.
Would it be possible to add privacy settings to remove the camera & lens serials, and 'round' the time and GPS data to the nearest 15 minutes/10-20 miles?

Inappropriate?Hi John,
I believe that this might be possible to do from a technical point of view, but it's not a simple thing to add to FlickrExport.
In the meantime, do you know that you can hide your EXIF information on Flickr at http://www.flickr.com/account?tab=pri... ? -
Thanks Fraser!
I do know that I can do that, but like seeing the EXIF data there. I learn a lot about how other folks take shots by seeing it, and I don't want to hide it all.
Also, how much you like that solution depends how much you trust Flickr/Yahoo. -
Definitely understood, but it is at least something you can do today (and do retroactively for photos already on Flickr). -
Inappropriate? One other quick question. Via prefs, export, email export presettings, edit, there's an advanced tab. Do you use that feature/those settings? So if I de-select include metadata, will FlickrExport not include the meta-data?
-
Inappropriate? It's the settings in File Export that apply to FlickrExport. If you deselect "Include Metadata" for the preset you use for Flickr, Aperture will generate a file without any metadata and pass that to FlickrExport.

Inappropriate? As a followup, I used the command line tool exiftool to look, and it seems that Aperture might be doing the right thing already. I used the following options for my Canon camera:
exiftool -SerialNumber -InternalSerialNumber -CameraSerialNumber
