Blank screen not only on start up Darkslide 1.6.1

This is taking a long time! The program is not functional until this is fixed. Also random crashes now.

I opened Contacts, recent contacts. Commented on 4 images. On the 4th, when I touched Contacts to go back to the Contacts page, it opened with the Recent/All choice bar and an empty list. Touching All opened the full list, and retouching Recent populated the recent list again, clearly from flickr since there was a new image, but it also duplicated the last image in the original load. If it were me, especially considering that the settings read of the cache size is not working, I would be looking at a local cache problem. Your cache, if present, does not seem to be working anyway, as it reloads from flickr every time you open the app, and every time you switch tabs during the session. Is that how it is supposed to work?
You have what is clearly the best, features wise, flickr app on the store. But I can't use it in its current state. That is frustrating.

Interestingly it also opens to a blank screen when More was the last tab selected.

Upgrade to iPhone 3.0 solved blank on start problem, even without 1.6.2 available yet...however, still getting the blank screen unpredictably on return to the Recent Contacts list from making a comment. Shows an empty list but with the Recent/All choice at the top. Touching All Contacts and then returning to to Recent reloads the contact images, but now there are two copies of every one.
