Darkslide becomes unresponsive when upload stalls

I was attempting to upload a photo to Flickr over GPRS using Darkslide 1.5.2 (build aacd4fc). The upload stalled partway through (phone signal was quite poor), so I tried to hit the Back button in the top left corner; but the app's UI was completely unresponsive for about 20 seconds (I didn't wait longer than that).

I went back to the phone's home screen and re-started Darkslide to cancel the upload.

I’m mostly indifferent
