Inappropriate?Hi Fraser,
I have installed the update and have run FlickrExport 3.0.1 twice now, the first time without making any changes to the title of the first image, to see if that would still hang FlickrExport and iPhoto. It did. The second time I made a change to the title of the first image and everything uploaded normally. So, users will still find that they must make a change to the title of the first image.
I’m status quo.

Inappropriate?I'm still trying to build a machine to reliably reproduce this bug. Your iPhoto and OS X version numbers might help me further. Will be going deep on this one in the next couple of days.
Thanks,
Fraser -
Inappropriate?Craig,
Do you have any other third-party iPhoto plugins or extensions installed? -
Inappropriate?Hi Fraser, no, no other third-party plugins or extensions. I did have the problem again tonight when forgetting to change the title of the first image again.
I’m equanimous
-
Inappropriate?Oh - sorry - never saw the "build a machine message" 'til just now. I have a 2.53 GHz MacBook Pro w 4GB of memory running 10.5.6, and iPhoto 8.0.2, build 402, so I'm right up to date.
I’m sorry I missed your message this long.

Inappropriate?Hi Fraser - the latest: I just updated to Mac OS 10.5.7, and everything else has been running smoothly... so I thought I would try, just for the heck of it, to upload my first photos since then without changing the first title, and it crashed as it has always done for me. The work-around of changing the titls still allows uploads for me.

Inappropriate? An update Fraser: 7 days ago I updated to the latest patches, including iLife Support 9.0.3 and iPhoto 8.0.3... and my problems with not changing the photos titles seems to have gone away. Thought you might like to know that everything seems to work now!
I’m thankful
-
Inappropriate?Craig,
Thanks for the update. I've been tearing my hair out over that one. -
Inappropriate?Uh-oh. Methinks I spoke too soon, I've had another hang. It's now an intermittent thing, as it did go through twice since the aforementioned updates without new titles.
I'll just have to continue always changing the title of the first picture to make sure the batch goes through, 'tis all...
I’m unconcerned
-
Inappropriate?Hi Fraser,
I'm running FlickrExport 3.0.1 for Aperture 2 running OS X 10.5.7. Every time I try an upload a batch of images I find that about 25% of them fail to upload and I get an error message that reads "Error 2 in photos.upload.checktickets"
When I upload to flickr directly, I am not experiencing this error.
I’m frustrated!

Hi Allie,
If you like I can send you a pre-release build of 3.0.2 that might fix this for you. Send me an email at info-at-connectedflow.com -
