no flicr logon
not an idea, bug?
Just purchased the paid version of darkslide. When I go to login to flicr I get an error message telling me that Safari cannot open the page as the address is invalid.
Can fix asap?

Here's my best guess as to what's happening: when Flickr authenticates a Darkslide user, it uses a custom URL to relaunch Darkslide and continue the login (the URL begins x-darkslide:// and isn't one that Safari can handle).
I suspect what's happening here is that Safari is trying to launch the x-darkslide:// URL and failing for some reason - probably because the iPhone launch system has lost track of which application owns that URL scheme and thinks it doesn't have one.
I suggest deleting and reinstalling Darkslide from your devices. Hopefully that will jog the phone's memory about Darkslide owning that URL scheme.
I’m perplexed

Inappropriate? Can you post the URL that Safari is trying to go to?
-
Inappropriate?same issue here - just purchased and it's not letting flickr authenticate. the url is:
http://www.flickr.com/services/auth/?...
(i think - hard to tell with such a long url in mobile safari!)
i removed the darkslide free from the flickr permissions page and this allowed me to get a little further. so i now see darkslide on the flickr permissions page but darkslide still wants to login and i get the invalid url. maybe flickr changed something on their end?
- also tried force quitting mobile safari
- resetting the phone
- logging out of flickr/yahoo and logging back in
how irritating! ;) - let me know if i can help out debugging
I’m frustrated
