Inappropriate? Is that the actual error message? I guess that must be something that's being returned by Flickr, since FlickrExport doesn't have flippant error messages like that.
What kind of image are you trying to upload. There's a 20MB/image upload limit on Flickr. If you're trying to upload a large TIFF or similar image, that might be the problem.
I’m confused by such odd error messages.

Inappropriate?Hi Fraser, thanks for replying.
That's the message. It sounds particularly Flickr-like.
The images are JPEGs and aroung 5Mb in size. It happens with any image I try to upload using FlickrEport; it pauses at around 215k for a few seconds then continues to the end of the file and bombs out with this error.
Any ideas?
Cheers. -
Inappropriate?Hey Fraser,
Just wanted to let you know that I seem to be getting the exact same thing. At first I wasn't getting any returned error, the upload was just timing out, and after several minutes iPhoto would crash. but I ran "defaults write com.connectedflow.flickrexport HTTPDebug -bool YES" and finally am getting the (slightly patronising) message from Flickr:
POST size too large! Try something smaller, mmkay?
I have attached the Console.app log to the bottom of this message incase it can be some help.
I imagine this is probably nothing to do with you but I have spent the past hour trying to figure out what on earth is going on and would really appriciate some assistance.
The image I am trying to upload is a 42KB .png, but other file types and sizes are failing too.
Here's hoping you can help!
Andy

I’m frustrated (but I don't think it is Frasers fault)

Inappropriate? Thanks for the information, guys. This looks problematic:

Usually if you get an <err> item in a Flickr response, it should give some reason.
I'm going to forward a link to this thread to the Flickr team and ask them to take a look. The file sizes you mention are well within the limits.</err>
I’m optimistic that the Flickr ninjas will get this licked.

Inappropriate?Hey Fraser, thanks for the input, have you heard anything back from the guys at Flickr?
I am still getting the problem, and have some things I really want to upload! -
Inappropriate?Hey Fraser, any joy from those Flickr Ninjas?
Cheers,
Chris. -
Inappropriate? Not so far. Will try another route in a day or so, once the current fires are out at Flickr HQ: http://www.flickr.com/help/forum/en-u...
-
Inappropriate? This is now in Flickr's bug tracker.
The company says
this answers the question

Inappropriate?Thanks Fraser.
