Resizing to Flickr using Flickrexport
Flickrexport - Uploading to Flickr. I never want my images resized at all - but I can't uncheck "scale longest side to" - is there any way of disabling it?

Inappropriate? If you don't change the field (i.e. if the value is the same as the size of the image), FlickrExport will observe this and skip the resizing.

Inappropriate?Aha ok - thanks for that. I would point out from an interface point of view, that isn't made very clear, for example I have no idea the dimensions of my images when I am uploading them so it was impossible to tell if the plug in was changing my images or not.
I was worried about it only because I thought if the dimensions changed, it might act as an export and therefore lose some EXIF data ( follows a completely different issue, nothing to do with you! )
thanks very much

Inappropriate?thanks from me too. (don't think I'd never want to modify my photos via FlickrEport)

Inappropriate?Your image gets recompressed though, so that sucks.

...which is inherent to any iPhoto export plugin that adheres to the iPhoto SDK. -
Yeah, I encourage you to have a look at iP2F. Somehow they manage to export 1:1 identical files to flickr. Also the built-in file exporter (non flickr) supports exporting original files as well.
You've may have overlooked something somewhere.
