Suggestions for Exposure
Exposure is brilliant, bt is lacking a few things (I have bought it I think it's that good tho!)
A few ideas:
1) When looking through your photos - why can't you gesture left or right, to get to the next photo.
2) When you zoom into a photo - why can't you pan and scan around.
3) Saving an image - I tried touching and holding an image - like you do in Safari but can't save an image - it would be very handy to be able to save a local copy, at either full size (for emailing) or scaled to fit the ipod screen (for wallpapers)
4) Near Me is brilliant, really it's why I paid out money - but why can't I choose a location other than my current on, and be abe to see pictures from that location?
Anyway - I reckon it's a great product - looking frward t using it more cheers :)

Inappropriate?1) When looking through your photos - why can't you gesture left or right, to get to the next photo.
Prior to the release of iPhone 2.0, Apple said that they would take a dim view of apps that were "bandwidth hogs" (their words). I was trying to be conservative with preloading things in case they pulled me up for it.
2) When you zoom into a photo - why can't you pan and scan around.
To be honest, it was because I couldn't figure out the necessary APIs in time to get 1.0 finished! Over time, I do want to make the full-screen view as similar to Photos as I can get.
3) Saving an image - I tried touching and holding an image - like you do in Safari but can't save an image - it would be very handy to be able to save a local copy, at either full size (for emailing) or scaled to fit the ipod screen (for wallpapers)
I do want to do this, but it will have to be governed by the permissions set by the photographer. It's a violation of Flickr's Terms of Service for their API to allow third parties to download images in a way that overrides the photographer's control.
4) Near Me is brilliant, really it's why I paid out money - but why can't I choose a location other than my current on, and be abe to see pictures from that location?
I have lots of plans for Near Me in the future, and I'll add this to the pile. How do you envisage specifying the other location on the iPhone? Just by typing in lat/lon, or a name search?
I’m loving the ideas.

For iTouch users it would be nice to be able to set the location using something similar to google maps -
Inappropriate?Hi Fraser - thanks for taking the time to reply.
On point 1, I have been using the newer 1.1 version of the facebook iphone application which has excellent photo browsing, it's a little let down on it's speed, but you can gesture swipe to next / previous images.
2) - sounds great it would be nice to have :)
3) NP it looks out of your hands. How about being able to save your *own* files to the photos directory - but not other peoples?
4) well TBH I rarely know my lat/lon , let alone that of somewhere I want to see! So something along the lines of the Google Maps search would be great, dropping a pin ( or even a pre saved pin ) and having a 'local photos' option?
Great app anyway - thanks very much for listening and I look forward to 1.1!
