uploading limit and formats
Two bits of feedback for Flickr Export Lite:
1st: I found that I got an error when uploading certain files, the error FEL gave me was that the file size was zero but this was nonsense, then when reporting the file and using Flickr's online uploader I noticed that Flickr states there is a 20MB file size limit, those files I was trying to upload were over that, and that what turned out to be the problem. So the error given back in that instance should have told me that and not that the file size was zero.
2nd: When uploading I have to be careful with the formats that I select because FUL only allows me to set one format even though I may be uploading fies of several different ones e.g. JPEG and TIFF.. I think this could be a limit of Aperture itself but if not I think the formats should be auto detected.
Thanks.

Inappropriate?Re: 1st - It's an unfortunate consequence of the way that Aperture export works that I can't detect this better. Aperture only generates the files _after_ you click Export, and I don't get a chance to inspect those images and re-export them smaller if they came out too big.
Re: 2nd - Yes, it's a limitation of Aperture that one export session can only be of one type. That would be good feedback to send to Apple. -
Inappropriate?Oh well, at least your aware of it, it might be an idea to add the text "if your file is >20MB this could be the problem", that is if the text is generated by your app and not Aperture.
I have a feeling Aperture is going to be a lot kinder to developers in the next release. Whenever that will be.
I’m happy
