Problems with Fluid App
I am trying to create a CoTweet app using Fluid App and I am having no luck.
I add all the correct information into Fluid to create a site specific app and then launch the application. When the application launches I get the CoTweet login page, but when I actually enter my CoTweet login, my browser launches and I get the attached error message in my default browser.
In the address bar of the browser the URL is: https://cotweet.com/agent_sessions
Can you shed some light on why this may be happening?
FYI. I have tried other services like Let's Freckle, Flickr, and Basecamp with no problems so I do not believe it is a Fluid App issue.

Inappropriate?Hi - Thanks for trying CoTweet out on Fluid. I'd like to get some fluid-specific features (growl notifications, etc) added in as soon as possible. I tested it out, but I wasn't able to replicate the issue. The correct URL to enter is https://cotweet.com. If you'd like, I can provide a Fluid wrapper for the site, although we're not doing anything different than what you likely did. Is this issue still occurring?
Thanks,
Aaron
I’m interested in making this work

Hey Aaron,
Yes the issue is still occurring. For some reason no matter what I do in Fluid; I go to sign in and it sends me to my browser with the same error message and the same URL in the Firefox address bar. I have tried this on another Mac and I get the same problem.
Here is some system info for both machines:
15" Macbook Pro
Mac OS 10.5.6
Running Fluid.App version 0.9.5
Running Firefox 3.0.5
Any light you can shed on this would be great. If you need any additional information please let me know. I also have ScreenFlow on my machine and can screencast my whole process. If you think that would help.
Thanks,
Johnny -
Inappropriate?Trying to piece this together...can you download and try https://cotweet.com/misc/CoTweet.app.zip - that's a build that I'm running currently, and has been validated by another user as working.
This was built on Fluid 0.9.5 / Mac OS 10.5.6.
Best,
Aaron -
Sadly, that does not work either. Same issue keeps happening; a redirect to Firefox with the same error page at the address of https://cotweet.com/agent_sessions.
I am investigating my system a bit more but I cannot pinpoint the issue if it is local.
I am pretty savvy so I have no idea what it could be. -
Inappropriate?I had this same issue and overcame it by setting my default browser to Safari, logging in via Safari, then creating a fluid app. The issue seemed to be cotweet.com attempting to open the agent_sessions page in the default browser, which being firefox would never generate the correct cookies for Fluid, which is based on Webbkit.

Inappropriate?Matt, thanks for stepping up to the plate and helping out! We're aware of the issue, but have higher priority bugs to squash at the moment. We'll update this thread when the issue is resolved.
