HTML editing
Last one, promise! This page looks great - http://panall.crowdvine.com/pages/22317 - but any attempt to edit the HTML or even just to resave the same HTML reformats the page appearance. Spent a couple hours banging my head so far, any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

Inappropriate?Hi -
Thanks again for reporting this, and for the email exchange we had about the problem.
I've been able to reproduce a page edit problem, using this sequence with an existing content page: "Edit the page, adding some text. Click on "Preview". Then click "Edit" again and add a second bit of text. Click "Update". Now look at the page. The second bit of text does not appear."
I've reported that bug to our development staff and believe we'll be fixing it soon. In the meantime, maybe knowing the sequence of steps will help avoid it.
I'll keep you posted on our progress on this!
Regards,
Terrie -
Thanks for all your help Terrie. -
Inappropriate?also, to append to this item regarding HTML. :)
It is a little funky here and there where the Crowdvine CSS may override my HTML formatting of a page. I have been able to hack my way through most of my formatting issues except for cellspacing. Although I have cellspacing as part of my HTML, the cellspacing tags are discarded when parsed by the site (through the CSS I assume).
I would LOVE to have cellspacing. HTML tables are OK now but the flush aligned text would look much more professional if the site would pass through the cellspacing in the HTML. Please consider passing cellspacing HTML through in a future release.

However if there is a workaround then I love to know that too.
Many thanks! -
Inappropriate?Hi again -
I think this is the best solution for this one...under Admin -> Design, I've updated your header to include a custom CSS block. I added the style class "contenttable", and to the first example page (above), I've added class="contenttable" to the table tag.
The padding is added through the CSS; I'm not a web designer, but I think the reason your padding wasn't coming through has to do with the CSS. I'll certainly add that to our list of things to look at...ideally you could just use the cellpadding attribute, but this should give you a way to do it right now.
Regards,
Terrie
