guys, there is seriously something wrong. I've tried to create multiple invites and I never get the link to edit. When I try to login legit-like, it tells me that my password is wrong for that email addy. when I click on 'forgot my password', i get an email saying welcome to crusher. halp.

That sounds awful. Was this very recently? I am trying it now and things seem to be in order.
Try this, could you clear your browser cookies? And perhaps your browser cache too? Just to see if it is the recent change that we deployed causing the weirdness.

The issue happened right before I posted it above, and also a day or two prior - that would have been Thursday the 27th or Friday the 29th.
Additionally, in order to respond to your comment just now, I had to create another account because for some reason it wouldn't recognize the password associated with my yahoo email addy. So I thought the accounts were separate, and just attempted to use my Windows Live ID to sign in. But it still asked for an email address after the log-in using Windows Live ID. When I tried to enter the yahoo email addy, it told me it was already taken.
ouch!
I will clear browser cache and cookies next time I have an invite to post.

Do you mean this site where our conversation thread is? This is actually not a part of Crusher. It is a service we use called Get Satisfaction and it has its own account system. Though, you should be able to post anonymously.
