confusing rsvp slider

rsvp slider is confusing - invitees select many options before concluding. i intially had notifications on and received 2 to 5 rsvp's per invitee as it appeared they chose several states before concluding their response. this may be moot as just sliding back and forth without releasing the mouse may cause a notification
