First idea I've heard: the ability to write posts while not connected to the network (e.g., in a plane), and queue them for later submission. Any interest?

this is just a thought... how about a schedule.. ... since we can't be running it in the background to check the timer ... pingle wound save your post... and add an entry to the calendar... this alert in the calendar will remind you to load pingle so it can submit all the pending posts....

is kind of wierd system... but otherwise i would not know how to schedule a post... unless is on the ping.fm api.
