Photo hosting sources
Would it be possible to set flickr as the photo hosting source? Also, could twitpic support be added as well?

Inappropriate? It's certainly possible and somewhere in the "possible features" list I had doodled.
The downside is that it means entering more account information into Pingle itself, as Ping.FM doesn't allow me to specify how photos are hosted via their API.
I'll ask Sean about supporting this via the API, as that way all clients would benefit and you wouldn't have to double enter your account info. After all, Ping.FM can already have your Twitter and Flickr credentials. -
Inappropriate?Yes, I suppose twitpic would require some API work. Since Ping.fm is already posting the pic to Flickr, is it possible to simply add the choice of photo urls inserted in the message and link to the pic posted on Flickr rather than the one on Ping.fm?

Inappropriate?I would very much like to see the option to use a different host for any photos uploaded via Pingle.

Inappropriate?Agreed... Twitpic would be great.

Inappropriate?Twitpic would, as Robert said, require more username/password information. Even though some are willing to do this, most are not. Twitpic is a great service for (TWITTER) clients, Ping.fm Clients have other issues with this. Not all people that use Ping.fm have twitter accounts. I'm sure some people that use Pingle don't have twitter accounts. That would render this source useless.
I’m unconcerned

Inappropriate? What I am asking for is an option for Pingle users who do have a Twitter account.
PS: TwitPic should be supporting Twitter's OAuth soon, so won't that be similar to Flickr's authentication?
