Inappropriate?it definitely made the debates more entertaining.
It was however very frustrating to see tons of "stupid" quips go by while for 3 debates my "intelligent" retorts were left unposted. Of course people using Tweetdeck could have read it all, but still. What was funny is that when mine did come up, I missed it. A friend had to tell me and i had to rewind to find it. ;-)
All in all, this was a heck of a lot better than watching an EEG of people on CNN. ;-) Thanx for taking the chance on new technologies and engaging in social media. It makes a world of difference.
OH! on the last debate, your added questions and your comments on popularity of search terms were really great as well.

Inappropriate?I really liked hacking the debate, even if my tweets didn't show up. It made it so much more interesting, plus seeing that others actually agree with me (and I'm sure yelling at the TV along with me when they didn't) was great.
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?I was really excited about the concept - once again Current finds a fun, innovative way to get young people involved in current events. Although when I tuned in, I found it distracting and I got annoyed. The graphic displaying tweets was was dizzying (often broke apart and faded before I took in the comment), and sometimes I missed what the candidates were saying because I was paying more attention to the tweets. I feel like the good points made by some viewers were buried by the unintelligible tweets made by folks who just wanted to see their screen name on TV. I turned back to CNN. It just didn't work for me.
I’m indifferent
