Trouble with sharing stories
a number of current community members have reported that shares are never reaching their intended recipients. it looks as if shares are just not being sent out due to some unknown bug in the system. our team is looking into the matter, and trying to get to the bottom of things, so we hope to have this resolved soon.
for now, if you've noticed any odd behavior when attempting to share items with people, please post your current.com username and provide us with some details below. your experiences could provide the necessary clues needed to get to the bottom of the case.

[UPDATE]: We've posted a fix to the sharing functionality that should resolve the issues many were experiencing. However, please note that the sharing list will still only surface a selection of users from your contact list, and not the entire list. If you would like to share with a specific user, you still have the option to enter their username directly into the sharing field. We will be overhauling many of our features over the coming months, and profiles/sharing/and connections are definitely on the list.

Inappropriate?I just about totally stopped submitting stories because someone more who had submitted "more" stories or was more popular with the staff would get picked for the board, meanwhile the 30 min I spent researching the sources of the story, getting a great graphic and adding something to it, were totally wasted.
I just got sad and burnt out.
