Linking plugin link-page macro not working

Using the linking plugin to auto-generate page links from within a template. I've added the following macro to my template, but it doesn't seem to capture anything within the % blocks:

{link-page:name=%content:title% - Page}Page{link-page}

It's a new page, but when I click to add it I get just "-Page" instead of "Title - Page". Plugin is activated. Have any idea what the issue is?

Steps to repro:

Add new page from template. Click on link to create new page. Check the title and its wrong.
