Inappropriate? If you right click on the flash file > go settings > click webcam.
From that drop down menu you should be able to select your new webcam. :)

Inappropriate?I don't find Jon's answer very helpful. Has anyone gotten the built-in iSight camera on a MacBook to work? If so, which of the settings did you use? Was there anything else you had to do to make it work? Thanks.

Inappropriate?Okay - I found Jon's answer unhelpful too so I did some research with my friend Google.
To get it to work I did:
1. Start iChat -> Preferences -> Audio/Video and unselect the tick box that says "Start iChat automtically when camera activated. Exit iChat
2. Right click -> Settings and select the USB Video Class Video as the Camera.
The camera then initiated and I could take pictures.

Thanks, picking USB Video Class Video as the Camera worked for my gf's MBP. -
Inappropriate?Kartar: that procedure doesn't work on my MacBook. I changed the settings just as you described, but it had no effect.
Thanks anyway for sharing the info. Maybe it will help someone else.

Inappropriate?Having the same problem on my iMac with it's built-in web cam... Running OSX 10.5.6 and Firefox 3.0.6... Pretty sure it's the lastest revision of Flash Player 10.something installed too...
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Update! Figured it out... Whent the flash window asks you to 'allow' dailybooth access, DON'T CLICK IT yet... First right click and select Settings... Then you can check the 'allow' and 'remember' check boxes, then head to the webcam tab - bottom right, and change the camera in the drop down menu to 'USB Video Class Video'... That'll do ya!
I’m phewing!

Inappropriate?For me the answer was:
1. Ctrl-click in the picture area to bring up the menu and choose settings
2. Select 2nd icon from left to get to Privacy settings. Make sure Allow and Remember are selected
3. Select webcam icon on the right and choose USB Video Class Video
4. Close the Settings
I’m happy

Inappropriate? If anyone else has this issue, Duane's steps are most likely the steps for success.

Inappropriate? For those who are apt to make silly mistakes, make sure that your iSight is not controlled by another application.
I had PhotoBooth up and running and it would not allow Daily Booth to gain control.
Doh!
I’m standing beside myself
