Inappropriate? It is possible to block stories about a particular person, keyword, company etc. from your personalized news digest.
Example: You would like to block the word "Cheney" from appearing in your National News content.
Log into DailyMe and click the Edit Settings/Select Content link in the top right nav bar. First, select National News from our list of categories by clicking on the National News box. (It will go from column 1 to column 2 - Refine Selections) Here, in column 2, you will need to apply the filter by opening the keyword field in the National News box (click on the + sign) and type in -Cheney (dash Cheney). Afterward, you will click on the arrow next to the search field, which will move your National News: -Cheney selection over to your My Selections column.
That will do the trick - remember to save when you are done :)
Note: You must apply the filter when you initially add the content. There is currently not a way to edit your content selections with regard to a filter. If you want to apply a filter to an existing selection, you will need to delete the selection, and then re-add it applying the filter.
I’m happy
