Symbol Meanings?

Not sure which symbols specifically you are referring but I will take a guess...The nav bar that appears below each story summary and full article have some icons that you can mouse over and they will display the descriptions and some that do not. The 2 that do not are: the Meme It (smiley face) and the Social Bookmarks. These you will actually need to click on to get their respective descriptions.

Meme It! is a way for you to rate articles by emoticons. There are a total of 6 emoticons representing different emotions and by clicking on one you can rate the article by the emotion you associate with it. All of the articles rated by Meme It! appaer in our DailyWe section under the respective emoticon.

The group of social bookmarking icons that appear of the nav bar next to Meme It! are a few of the places you can bookmark an article to using your own account. When you click on that group, a larger window displaying all of the bookmarking sites appear and you may select rom that list. This is actually an Add This widget we deployed.
