One of the tricks he discusses is the append feature in his favorite Mac App, QuickSilver.

Since I'm on a PC, I don't have quicksilver. But I've got something better!! It's called AutoHotKey, and if you've ever wanted to automate ANYTHING on your computer, AutoHotKey is the way to do it.

I've created a little applet that allows me to emulate Merlin Mann's append capability, in Windows. I just hit Windows+Spacebar, and a window pops up, prompting me to append text to a file of my choosing. As an extra bonus, when I click "ok" (or hit enter), the file opens in bLADE Wiki.

I figured I might not be the only one who could find this useful.
