Cannot run bLADE Wiki even after installing .NET 2.
I am trying to run on a Windows Mobile 5 Pocket PC PDA (i.e. touchscreen)
After installing bLADE Wiki, I got the "This application ...requires a newer version of the Microsoft .NET... " error
- so I installed the .net 2. framework version (specifically,l 2.0.7045.0)
Still the same error.
- I then removed .net 2. and installed .net 3.5 framework (in desparation)
Still the same error.
Any suggestions?
Thanks, Vilis Nams

Inappropriate?which device ?

I am using a MioP550. Actually, although this is a problem in installing bLADE Wiki, it is not unique to it. I have the same error when installing some other programs. Once I get it solved with any of those programs I'm sure all will work. -
Inappropriate?Hello,
i had the same problem with blade but not with a smartphone, but on a pc.
After a year of "non-updates" i did one, and i could not start blade. So i thought "scheisse gelaufen" (what a mess).
Afterwards i deinstalled Framework 2.0 AND Framework 3.0 and all their Extensions and upgrades. Then I installed Framework 3.5 with updates and all was pretty fine working. Is This helping you?
I’m happy

Alas I tried that also with my Pocket PC, and still no luck. -

Inappropriate?Success!!
I had installed Framework 3.5, and blade still didn't work. But then I discovered a part of a Compact Framework 3.5 powertoy, called NetConfiguration. You can get just that part from the following:
http://www.1800pocketpc.com/fuc-frequ...
Download:
netcfcfg.cab
run on your WM.
Then run the program it installed, called.Net Configuration.
With this you can set which version of Net Framework each application will use - so, I set blake to use Net Framework 3.5.
A happier,
