Need to share my bad experience with decormyeyes.com
I was searching websites and ordered from another website and I recieved an email and job offer to be a rep and after my response was I ordered glasses from another site 50 dollars cheaper here is the first one and the rest will follow how do we get the word out.
I noticed that you have an item in your shopping cart. Is there a reason that you didn't check out? Is there a place that sells this item for cheaper?bIf so, I can request a price match on it for you. I would like to help get it for you as cheap as the internet has them.
I will work closely with you to find you the cheapest possible price.bbLet me know so that I can go back to my vendors and get to work for you.bb Stanley Bolds, DecorMyEyes.com Sales Team (800) 995-9373 eMalish Corporation c/o DecorMyEyes.com

I ordered a pair of sunglasses off the website, luckily did credit card transaction through google. I received the same email saying that I had left something in my basket, and why. I was concerned and decided to cancell the order. I called the 800 number on Decormyeyes website and he proceeded to call me a F-----ing B-tch and said that he knows where I live and he will come down and pop me in the head a couple of times. He has continued to email me in the last few minutes since I hung up on him. This guy has major issues and is a total scam artist. YUCK! -
Ted check out Stanley's latest comments so now the word can get out.. -
Inappropriate?polly anna: I contacted the owner of this business, Stanley Bolds, about your complaint. I wanted to see if he would respond to you on Get Satisfaction. His response to me was a clip art picture of a man giving me "the bird." Classy.
It sounds like he doesn't care very much for customer complaints. In fact, his exact words were, "I don't care who says what."
A quick Google search for this company returns many fraud complaints. It sounds like this is a business with a lot of problems.
For example, see here:
http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0...
http://forum.purseblog.com/the-wardro...
I would advise you -- and anyone else for that matter -- to steer clear of buying from DecorMyEyes.com.

Inappropriate? To bring this topic to a close, we also blogged about your experience with this online retailer: http://blog.getsatisfaction.com/2008/...
Our hope is that others will see that this company has dismal customer service by spotlighting them in our hall of shame. Good luck going forward, polly anna, and thanks for participating on our site. -
Inappropriate?I too had a similar experience w/ Stanley Bolds. I ordered a pair of glasses for my mother and he emailed back saying he did not have the pair I wanted in stock. He then proceeded to haggle with me, giving me discounts on other pairs of glasses I did not want.
I asked him professionally for a full refund and instead of complying like most legitimate online retailers, he began to berate me in several emails with the following (quoted directly from his email): Email #1 - Your are retarded just so you know.. For future reference. Email #2 - I don't care what you do.
I think you are retarded.
I am now making sure I spread the word from this retailer. I'm a big internet shopper and this is the first time I have experienced this kind of unprofessional behavior. It's APPALLING that anyone would speak or treat another person in the way Stanley Bolds has treated ALL of his customers! -
Inappropriate?Wow. He actually called you retarded. I am sorry that happened to you. I hope you eventually did get a refund. This sounds horrible.
I’m continually surprised at the stories I am hearing about this guy
-
Inappropriate?yea i read a lot of the stuff is bootleg but my friend got a pair and they looked real. we brought them into sunglasshut and the lady confirmed she thought they were real
-
Inappropriate?im concerned with buying a pair of the glasses i want. Are they real or fake and is it just bad customer service
-
Don't buy from him! I wasn't committing about the quality of his glasses. Even if it is real, the lack of customer respect is appalling and he does NOT deserve any business. A lot of times, if you purchase a pair, he'll say that he doesn't have it so that he can finagle into buying a different pair instead at a 10% discount. If you don't exchange, he starts harassing you. Buyer BEWARE! -

Inappropriate?Wow. I am continually amazed at what I find out about this company and the man running it. Thanks very much for sharing. I think that what this points out is that the great thing about the Internet is that companies have a hard time hiding bad practices. It's nice to see that customer voices can help bring accountability to companies that behave badly.
Thanks again. Very illuminating!
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?I too, just had harassing e-mails from this jerk Stanley Bolds. He contacted me via e-mail, when he saw I had put an order in the shopping cart, but didn't purchase. He offered to price match and help me find the pair I wanted for cheaper. When I e-mailed to tell him I had found the glasses cheaper, he insisted they didn't have them. He said that this pair was sold out "across the world". I responded that they weren't and had found them on several sites. He continued to tell me, "you shall see, you won't get them". I e-mailed when my glasses arrived, told him they were autherntic and he needed to find a new vendor. His response was, How much did you pay?, They only cost $35 - Hahahah. I wrote him back to tell him he is committing fraud and was going to report him. His last e-mail was, "I see you writing, but all I hear is blah blah, blah, blah. This guy needs to be shut down. He's milking people out of $$$ with fake glasses - claiming they are real and harassing people. Why hasn't someone done something about him. How can we shut down his site?I have reported to several agencies including the FBI. What next?

Inappropriate?DO NOT BUY AT DECOR MY EYES - THIS IS A SCAM!!!!
This ought to be my first on-line shopping and now I am sure that it is also my last. Let me tell You how it all went down...
I was searching for Dior sunglasses which were not available in stores in Croatia. I found them at Decor My Eyes and contacted mr. Stanley Bolds. He told me that he has them in stock and he also sent me an offer to my company so I can make the payment through my bank account, since I did not want to give him my credit card number. After two days I sent him 258 $ (the money was sent to EMALISH CORPORATION) and he confirmed that he had received the money and that he is going to send the sunglasses. After three days he sent me an e-mail in which he wrote that he was checking the item before the delivery and that it was cracked on the frame. He also wrote that this was the last item left and that it is not possible to get another since it went out of the production. I asked him to send me the money back and he said 'no problem'. A week had passed and I still haven't received the money. I sent an e-mail to mr. Bolds asking what is going on. His answer was that he is not able to send me the money back and that I have to choose another item. I was pissed off and I sent him an angry e-mail which he ignored. After two days I sent a new code for another sunglasses and he answered that this item is not available in USA. So I sent the code for the third sunglasses and he never answered. I sent another 4 e-mails asking him to answer or to send the money back but he ignored everything. This is how mr. Bolds sees 'customer service at it's finest'!
It was never his intention to send me anything. Mr. Bolds is a thief and now I am glad that I did not give him my credit card number, because I could have lost more than 258 $.
Decor My Eyes and mr. Bolds are criminals and will make sure that this imposture is published.

Inappropriate?Sandra: I am so sorry to hear that you also had a terrible experience with Stanley Bolds and DecorMyEyes. Thank you so much for sharing what happened. I know that we will make a difference as people go searching for information about this company and find that there are countless people who have had outrageously bad customer service experiences with them.

Inappropriate?Hello, My name is Stanley with DecorMyEyes.com I just wanted to let you know that the more replies you people post the more business and the more hits and sales I get. My goal is NEGATIVE advertisement Its a new proven to work strategy when you post all kinds of negative it always turns positive. I never had the amount of traffic I have now since my 1st complaint. I am in heaven.. Thanks so very much for your continued effort. I really appreciate it.
I’m RICH!!

This is awesome! He's just trying to get a rise out of someone - his MO. I have 2 little words for him......tick tock! Just let him continue to hang
himself. I will forward to IRS, FTC and FBI to help further with their investigation. -

Yeah right?!? If you're that busy, you wouldn't be on here. -
Yes, and all businesses should operate like this. I'm sure its never been tried before: be a "Stanley Bolds" and treat customers like punching bags and they will come back for more. We should all be so brilliant! -
Inappropriate?I literally was about to buy from decormyeyes.com all of two minutes ago! I am glad I fell across this website before I made my purchase. THANK YOU so much for posting this!

Inappropriate?Just received a response from The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) about my complaint of Mr. Bolds. There is a case # and based on the amount of complaints, an investigation has begun. The more complaints filed, the better. If you have been scammed or harassed by this man, I urge you to file as well. The Better Business Bureau and FBI also have previous complaints from Decormyeyes.com. Enjoy that negative publicity!
I’m giddy with joy!!!!

Inappropriate?Mr. Bolds seems to be acting with the flawed logic that: "There is no such thing as bad advertising", and he can do what he likes, however he likes, because it's a free country, (THE US-OF-A), and if someone is stupid enough to buy from him, then they get what they get! Um yeah! SURE! I agree! IT'S A FREE, CAPATILISTIC COUNTRY!!! HOWEVER!
Mr. Bolds is a rude dumbass, and he employs, or is F******* , a very rude little woman, that is not helping him in anyway to promote his con-job. I was more than ready to drop a few hundred, on a few pairs of his sunnies, if I was issued an apology, that I did NOT request, but expected. ALL I GOT WAS RUDE REPLY EMAILS THAT SAID: "NO ONE HERE CARES" *message deleted* and then after another email, when I DID DEMAND AN APOLOGY! "BLAH BLAH BLAH! EMAIL TO LONG! *message deleted*
Christ, I'm a lawyer, and I always try to make a point to represent, ahem, "clients", that at least have the sense to try and APPEAR HONEST, so I can represent them, and win, without hating myself to much! For Godsake! If you are going to be a con-artist, and try to make money off of your lies, don't insult the people you're attempting to rip-off! The only thing worse than a thief, is a RETARDED, SELF-PROMOTING THIEF, THAT GOES AGAINST THE ESTABLISHED INTENTION OF MAKING THE MOST MONEY OUT OF A LIE, AND THEN LEAVING A "PAPER TRAIL", BY INSULTING THE PEOPLE YOU ARE TRYING TO RIP-OFF! CHRIST!
We have laws in this country to protect consumers, that force businesses to uphold their word in "honest practice". In other words: If a business says: "Hey, I'll sell you fake goods, that look like the real thing, at a fraction of the price, and my company promises that no one else will ever know that they are fake, because they look GENUINE", Well then! BINGO BANGO! It's a done deal! And that is a "consumer legal transaction", as long as the buyer is privatized, and not privey, or required, to know the basis of the production of the product. BUT!
If a business makes a self proclaimed promise of genuine authenticity of the provided product for sale, with the outlined rules that they have created, pertaining to that promise, in public print, to potential customers, and does not follow through with regards to that promise, it is legally considered INTENDED FRAUD. And If a purchase is made by a consumer based on that stated promise, and a consumer is unsatisfied with the company, and acts upon the stated promise, and it is not honored, then that is actionable. The company has created it's own "contract". As in: "The consumer can sue, or follow any action that is leagally nessecary(sic) to receive just compesation, based on the providing company's self-prodclaimed contract".
SO BLAH BLAH TO THAT MR BOLDS!
I’m really pissed off. I tried to speak to this company professionally, and received juvenille responses....and not even the smart kind. These were responses coming from the dumbshit at the back of the cafeteria, with pudding on their face and asaying: "WHAT
-
Inappropriate?yay! im not the only one that has had the pleasure of dealing with stanley bolds. first off- i should have googled his name, or the comapny name and stopped all of this before it started.
similar story about the glasses. i wont go into all of that.
however, the phone calls started. in the end i was left with "you dont know who i am or what i am capable of...i will find you." oh stanley, please dont spend too much time searching for me, i know you have a busy life pissing people off!
people PLEASE do not buy from this guy. do your research. on ebay you can see that his record is clean- only because he is buying- not selling his piece of s*hit frames. ack!
I’m insanley baffeled as to why this guy is still in business.
-
Ditto from me... I think the jackass has a script that says "I know where you live.. you have no idea what I can do to you... I'll ruin you... You piece of sh*t, cu**, motherf***er. I've never been so verbally violated in my life. He belongs in a psyche ward somewhere cuz he's a living cookoo! And yes, his paper trail and caller ID trail is phenomenal. I just keep forwarding along all the evidence to the powers that be for their files -- he'll see his day soon. Stanley Bolds, who's real name is Vitaly Borker isn't the brightest bulb in the bunch! The best thing you can do is report his threatening behavior to the Attorney General's office in the state of New York. You will not be alone, as several have filed complaints. -
I'm an ebay seller. He almost scammed me out of my sunglasses and money. He tries to get you to send them to non-paypal address and then files a claim that he didn't get them. Then he gets his money back and figures out how to intercept the glasses at the 'random' address he gave you. EBAY SELLERS BEWARE !!! -
Even though I was the seller and he was the buyer, the emails and phone calls were very similar to all other posts I've read. Very harassing and threatening. Way beyond 'rude'. I have a Master's in Psychiatric Nursing and he is much sicker than any patient I've ever had! I'm looking for any EBAY SELLERS with similar experience. Let's get him off EBAY, he has figured out new scams and is becoming more diversified. -
Inappropriate? This is EXACTLY what happened to me too! I wished I looked in to this before wasting my money. I have an attorney friend looking in to this...this guy has to be shut down!!!
I’m PISSED OFF

Inappropriate?Hey Guys
Thank god for these forums...I was just about to purchase 2 pairs of Sun glasses at a total of $450 from Stanley Bolds at Decormyeyes until I read about all these bad experiences people have had with this company so I questioned him about these forums that posted all negative feedback about the company and he then turned around and said !@#$ YOU you piece of !@#$. I have never dealt with this company before and hope that you guys never have to go through with what some of us had to. I'm just blown away that someone like this can call himself a business man. If we all do our part it won’t be long till he's shut down. Buyers beware...Do not buy anything from this man or company. They are a complete bunch of !@#$. -
Guys
I just received my pair of glasses from www.go2optics.com and let me tell you that they were a complete plessure to do business with and the 2 pairs of glasses i brought were about $80 cheaper than decormyeyes. They came within a week and they are the real deal. They came with all the original packaging and the authenticity cards in each box. Will definatley do business with this company again. Stay away from Decormyeyes. -
Inappropriate?I recently ordered a pair of Dior sunglasses and when they arrived they might as well have come out of a cereal box. They were flimsy and scratched and obvious FAKES. I went to Saks just to compare and the differences were clear to the naked eye. This is where the fun began. I called the company and explained to them that I wasn't happy with the quality of the product. I stopped short of accusing them of selling counterfeit merchandise as I was trying to behave in a courteous and mature manner. The girl ("Jessica" ?) who originally answered the phone laughing hysterically, said "Hold On" and kept me on hold for almost 10 minutes. When I explained the situation she tried to reassure me that they were authentic but I told her I wasn't so sure and I just wanted to return them and get a refund. This would be a very simple transaction with just about any reputable company. Not so with these animals. She transferred me to her manager, "Stanley". He seemed cooperative at first, telling me to explain the situation in an email and he would issue a return authorization. Then the SPAM started: the solicitations to work for them (is it a pyramid scheme?), marketing junk for their other companies (DecorMyhome and some other dot coms). Once I sent the email I received a note saying I would have to pay for return shipping and a restock charge. This was nothing compared to what I would have to endure in the following weeks. To make a very long story short, I ended up keeping the cheap glasses because I just couldn't deal with "Stanley"'s harassment and barrage of emails. He called me every name in the book and threatened me with lawsuits and violence. How this company (based out of a house in Brighton Beach, NY, btw) is still in business is beyond me. If you think this is too crazy to believe or sounds over the top, I urge you to trust the cases on here and STAY AWAY from these people. No one here has anything to gain by doing this. It's simply a place to vent and hopefully save others from making the same mistake. By the way, the BBB really can't do much. Contact the FTC, FBI and Attorney General's office to file complaints. I did!
-
Amy it doesn't sound crazy to me because we were all there with you in amazement how in the world can he stay in business and treat clients so bad. I know I was outraged and I decided not to purchase which by the way he still tried to use my paypal account. So I can imagine your frustration. I hope they atleast keep out the sun because I am sure you look great in them. -
Inappropriate?OMG
-
Inappropriate?how or why is this company and this poor excuse of a business man still around!?!?! i do not understand......there HAS to be something that someone can do to prevent any of these situations from happening over again. he is so insane- just completely insane.
I’m wondering what makes this guy think.....
-
Inappropriate? The ONLY way to shut this guy down is to report him. There is a case # for him thru the FTC and I did get an e-mail from the FBI stating that they had received my complaint. As for the BBB, it's a #'s game. The more that people file - the sooner they get someone to look at him - eventually he will get caught. I also filed a complaint with the IRS. I figured if he was scamming customers - he must be scamming everyone else. Keep reporting him - it's a matter of time.
I’m like an expectant mom waiting for his bubble to burst!!
-
Inappropriate?Stanley just posted porno on the site.. for everyone's eyes to add to all of the reports he did it about 12 times I hope everyone else received this comment too. It is a gem he put it on a public website.
-
oh yea, we can all see these real mature comments. so can the 2 police stations that i have alerted about my situation with this guy and his business. good job! -
Inappropriate?Stanley you really are a moran... His emails have been red flagged and reported
-
Inappropriate?Interesting comments, Stan. I take it you don't like this boards "negative advertising"...seems to be working though, just like you said! You really are quite the business man. Let's see what kind of calls you get from this! Enjoy, your, uh, evening.
-
Amy your experience with Stanley Bolds, DecorMYEYES, who works out of a house in Brighton Beach, NY, btw) is on his way out!!!!!!!! -
Inappropriate?i am so completely disgusted by this poor excuse of a man. as if porn is even a come back to his bad business? porn? honestly! doesnt even seem like he is able to defend himself- he just posts porn. wow- look out!
I’m wondering how this guy even makes it thru the day.....

Inappropriate?Hey GUYS AND DOLLS THIS IS IMPORTANT PLEASE READ. I need to share one thing Insanely Stanley did for me. Stanley reminded me to do my research, ask questions and purchase items from companies that stand behind their product and believe in customer service. Before the internet it was easier to purchase expensive items because you could see and touch them and see and hear the employees promises. You also knew where the store would be if you got home and changed your mind. If they decided not to follow their return policy it was easy to make a fuss until the whole mall heard you and it was in the newspaper. I know this because I worked at a shoe store in the mall when I was in college, our manager wanted to make sure everyone was happily skipping in and out of the store. Today anybody can sit and hide behind the computer. By the way the good blogs and posts that are online were mostly written by Jessica and Stanley. This is truly sad.
I wish I would have shared my recent good sunglass purchase experiences before today. I was mad for only a second Stanley wasn’t worth it but I was still hesitant to order anything on the internet until I found a pair of Dolce & Gabbana glasses with Swarovski crystals that I fell in love for my birthday. I saw them when I was in CA but didn't want to pay $400 Johnny on the spot then I couldn't find them in stock anywhere. I decided it was time to do my research. Dolce & Gabbana and Luxottica are two market-leading companies that signed a licensing agreement to manufacture and wholesale sunglasses together. Luxottica has 6 maybe more in house lines and about 17 other brand name licensing agreements. That gave me more information when I started calling and contacting companies online. I asked about their wholesale process, warranties, other numbers to call for verifications before I ordered, even for the description of the glasses down to a T for comparison, the questions started getting ridiculous I felt I was acting like the crazy lady in the mall before I even made the purchase.
It was a great experience with http://www.go2optics.com/ and I just love my movie star glasses that cover half your face. My plastic sunblock. They retailed for $375 to $425 and I bought them for $191. (This was also cheaper than Stanley’s site and the starting bid on EBay where Stanley tried to disguise himself and DecorMyEyes Company.) I received my glasses within days along with a company and manufacturer guarantee card to fill out and mail back to GO2 and Luxottica and a follow up email and phone call from customer service.
During my research I also found out that Luxottica manages LensCrafters (where I have been a regular prescription customer over the years) and Sunglass Hut globally.
On a business trip in June I thought I lost my new sunglasses. I drive a convertible and it was bright and sunny so I couldn't go a day on the road without a pair of sunglasses. I decided to run by a sunglass hut to see if they had the same pair in stock. They didn't but I didn’t want to leave without a pair because I was going to be on the road the next two weeks. The salesperson was exceptional. She was so nice while she was trying to help me find a similar pair. We tried almost every brand of glasses in the store and she shared my disappointment. Right before I started to give up she asked if I could wait a second while she rang up some other customers so she go to the stock room and pull out some boxes that haven't been open yet. She pulled out drawers, brought boxes out from the back and even showed me some of their discount glasses.
For some reason I have never noticed or asked why some of the glasses were discounted. She said sometimes they will get damaged in shipping or returned so they have a special case for them clearly apart from the others. They replace returned glasses if they have them in stock and resale them at a lower price. She said Sunglass Hut has a policy of return and or repair even if they were stepped on by accident. I could purchase a damage pair and send them for repair because they would still be under the manufacturer's warranty.
Since the company and manufacturer are one and the same they would rather be honest about the damage and offer for them for purchase and repair instead of instantly putting them in a damage box to die alone. You can take damaged sunglasses for return or repair to any Sunglass Hut around the world. How's that for customer service!!!! I found my Dolce & Gabbanas a couple of days later but now I have a pair of D&G's for back up and couldn't be happier. I can also use my eye case as a clutch. I hate the latest post from AMY because I should have shared this story sooner and you would be happier with your purchase. But hopefully this will not only tell others not to buy from DecorMyEyes but lead them in other directions. My first entry was my first blog and first filed formal complaint in my life so it didn't dawn on me to speak up again. Also because my stories are rarely ever short. I also contacted several other websites, BBB, nationally and locally and other consumer groups I am usually so busy taking care of my owner customers I forgot to share the good from my new experience and how it could help someone. It is exhausting to complain and from one of my first emails from Stanley that is what he counts on. He wants us to give up the fight for our rights. I have followed all the other horror stories so it is evident we still have experiences to share and stories to tell. There are good sites where you can purchase online for a cheaper price, receive the genuine product and good customer service. There are other alternatives as well.
Stanley would have admitted he was wrong if he had any sense or actually was making money and wanting to stay in business. He is not even a tiny player in the big scheme of things so I hate to respond to his immature behavior and unethical business conduct. The only thing that could possibly keep him in business was the one thing he doesn't have is a good name although we know that now it is publicly in writing.. I can understand a couple of mistakes and complaints but irate people who have a life and still take the time to help others beware. He might have succeeded with keeping 99% of his guarantees, lower prices and some kind of service. But he has proven that he doesn't return, refund or keep any guarantees. The jig is up and please tell everyone that DecorMyEyes is out of business as of now. We need to confirm his mailing address to return all of the junk mail or anything else we fill necessary to drop in his mail box since he feels so free to fill up my email box and voice mail with obscenities. His prices aren't competitive with other online companies that try to keep a low overhead. It should be since he lives in his warehouse. We all know his meaning of customer service. The sentence usually ends with _____you. He has more than offered his signature and seems to be begging for someone to check him into a mental hospital by telling the world he, himself is a lunatic on a company blog. Does he not know that this is a company blog for all to see with other businesses like Microsoft, Apple, Yahoo, Sunbelt Software, Google, and Iphones etc. We need to keep the topics and blogs alive. Luckily for us Stanley has made that so easy for us. There is a six degrees of separation from each other and he is about half degrees to someone or something that will push his company right over the edge. You can tell by his latest email. I am a business owner and what I want the most is to have a happy customer base with repetitive business transactions and lots and lots of referrals along with a good living. I have no complaints and my clients have made me very satisfied. Maybe I am one of the lucky ones but luck is hard work.
STANLEY THIS REFERRAL IS FOR YOU. Don't buy from DecorMyEyes, look for Stanley Bolds, then there is this Jessica person, his tags on EBAY, he has other sites... So buyers beware. I hope that is rich enough for you Stanley. Have a great day!!!!!!!!!
I’m am hoping this will wipe his business of the map.

Inappropriate?Just so everyone knows: Stanley, who posted a ton of pornography and other offensive photos on this site today (some of the most offensive stuff I've ever seen), has now been banned from using Get Satisfaction. It's really quite amazing that someone with a business would choose to act this way, and I appreciate all of your comments in helping to spotlight a business owner with such questionable business sense.
My apologies for the amount of offensive material he managed to put in your e-mail in-box before we removed his ability to post.
-
I hope It is kept somewhere because I referred tone of his major manufacturer about his conduct and this was the last straw... -
eric- seems as if mr. bolds has nothing better to do than to hack into someones account and post more porn. wtf? -
Inappropriate?BTW, I also reported him to http://www.luxottica.com/english/inde... the manufacturer

Inappropriate?Hi guys. I'm so glad this site exists. I just stumbled upon it after dealing with this company and took to the web to vent my frustrations. I won't even bother detailing the specifics because it's all been said. I will say that I live in NYC and the local Fox station has an investigative unit which features idiots like this guy. Here's what I just wrote to the Fox 5 station (http://www.myfoxny.com/myfox/MyFox/ht...):
DecorMyEyes.com is an online company which claims to sell authentic designer sunglasses. There are many reports that they are fakes. But the bigger issue is the way the owner (?) of this company treats his customers. His name is Stanley Bolds (aka Vitaly Borker) and he blatantly harasses his unsatisfied clients with verbal abuse and threats of violence. The mailing address for the company is in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn (56 Beaumont Street). Their email address is sales@decormyeyes.com. There are several blogs on the web with many, many upset consumers. Here are few:
http://www.ripoffreport.com/searchres...
http://www.resellerratings.com/store/...
http://getsatisfaction.com/decormyeye...
I'm keeping my email and name anonymous because this man (Stanley Bolds) has threatened me in phone calls and emails, stating that he knows where I work and live.
Is there anyting you guys can do to check him out.
Please help! -
Let's keep trying! -
Inappropriate?Again, sorry for all of the porn and inappropriate content that this Stanley person was posting this morning. I've tracked down his multiple accounts, and that should be the last we see of Stanley Bolds.
-
Inappropriate? Also, contact the other local NYC stations:
http://abclocal.go.com/wabc/feature?s...
http://cw11.trb.com/news/local/evenin...
http://www.wabcradio.com/sectional.as...
I guarantee that once a story airs about "Stanley Bolds/Vitaly Borker", he will prosecuted by the proper authorities. -
Inappropriate?Hi
I have just ordered some contact lenses from this site, to be delivered to a friend in the US before they come visit me in Tokyo. I have only received an order number - no confirmation of the product or price. Also my credit card company does not show the transaction. Where should I go from here? The man has my credit card details...
I’m anxious

Inappropriate?Vitaly Borker a/k/a Stanley Bolds of decormyeyes.com (and also decormyhome.com) has got to be the most insane person I have ever done business with. My glasses arrived broken (they were loose in the box, without any sort of bubble-wrap or tissue paper to protect them) and when I called, "Stanley" called me every name in the book, threatened me, and continues to call and write using swear words (the "f" word, "c" word -- called me "retarded" and every other derogatory name you could imagine. I can say without a doubt that he's the strangest person I have ever encountered in my life. He's definitely not normal. He's a nut job and clearly has serious emotional psychiatric issues. His "warehouse": is his small apartment on Beaumont St. and he is a one-man operation, but enlists the help of his friend Inna Gorelik and others on occasion. He is being investigated now by the Attorney General's office in the state of NY, and his threats of bodily harm to me have been reported to my local police department, where there is an active file open on him personally. I would encourage everyone who has had a problem with Vitaly Borker a/k/a "Stanley Bolds" to file a report with the NY Attorney General's Office. Call them at 212-416-8433 or visit www.aog.state.ny.us to print the appropriate forms from their Internet Bureau. Vitaly Borker is delusional and is a whacko, and although blogging about him on the internet is effective in letting consumers know to stay away from doing business with decormyeyes.com, he needs to be held responsible for the manner in which he treats people. My only hope is he never has children, because dysfunction breeds dysfunction, and we want to make this world a nicer place -- one person at a time! It's a sad statement for him as a person to be so nasty to so many people. Maybe he was abused as a child and is lashing out... it's no way to build a business, that's for sure. Stay away from him! In fact, run!
I’m furious... and I suppose that's Stanley's goal.

Inappropriate?I had a hunch they were too good to be true and I was right.
I purchased discounted designer frames with prescription lenses and I added all the additional stuff for my lenses (which wasn't added and never refunded).
1. The website does not allow you to provide all the essential information to complete prescription orders.
2. I received these over a month later which is unacceptable considering when I checked with him he said 2 weeks max!.
3. The prescription was wrong! He told me I had to go to place to verify the prescription because he didn't want me wasting his time!
4. They used the cheapest possible lenses to make there money's worth and did not take any responsbilty when asked to fix them correctly.
Lastly, be aware becuause there is a reason why they do not offer 100% guaranteed satisfaction, exchange, or returns it's because they don't care. They literally take your money and run!
I also thought it was interesting how the testimonials on the site were all positive that's b/c they don't come directly to the site it goes through him then onto the site!
Anyways I just wanted to let you all know my experience with this scam artist.
I’m not happy!

Inappropriate?I ordered a pair of Ray Ban Sunglasses (with free shipping). When I received the sunglasses, the frame was already damaged, I called DecorMyEyes immediately, they told me to send it back and they were going to exchange it, (they also promised, that they were going to refund the return shipping cost: $9.83, never happened) I sent it back the same day.
Meanwhile Stanley Bolds sent me an e-mail, claimed that their products are exactly as pictured, 100% brand new and wanted me to read the testimonials, reviews on their website. Certainly you can not find/leave any negative feedbacks due to their controlling.
When they received my sunglasses, Stanley Bolds claimed that the item was 100% perfect and there was nothing wrong with that.
Come on, why would I want to exchange my sunglasses for the same model if they are 100% perfect, that is just insane! He still refuses to admit selling me defect of quality product! I believe the reason why he did not wanted to admit the fault and exchange the sunglasses, because they are selling only manufacturer WASTE PRODUCTS!
Finally when I managed to talk to his manager, Jessica. She said if I wanted to buy an original, quality product, I should have bought it at retail stores, not from them, not through the internet. I was shocked. Thank you very much, now it is clear to me, the reason why their price is below the average retail price, because they are selling manufacturer waste, defect of quality products. If I had known it, I would have never purchased those sunglasses from DecorMyEyes. After all I also question the authenticity of their products.
When I claimed to refund all my money back, they hung up on me. They refunded ONLY 63% OF MY MONEY( they charged me 20% restocking fee, their free shipping cost me $17.36, plus they never refunded my return shipping costs). They should change their slogan, instead of 100% satisfaction or money back, you should read on their website 0% SATISFACTION AND 63% MONEY BACK!
DO NOT TRUST DECORMYEYES.COM, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM or they going to RIP YOU OFF, as they have done to me! SOMEBODY DO SOMETHING TO CLOSE DOWN THEIR BUSINESS! -
Inappropriate? On 12-22-08 @ approx 10:15PM I received a call from a man who stated his name was “Stanley” the owner of Décor My Eyes.com upset over the dispute from American Express purchase I made on December 16th 2008. I purchased a pair of Chanel sunglasses from his site, which they said they had in stock and could be delivered by Christmas. I checked back on the site for an update on the order status, but got a return e-mail stating, “With Chanel it takes about 72 hours to order the item from them and they deliver in about 5 days”.
Then on December 20th 2008 I received another e-mail stating “I am very very sorry for the delay in your order. Let me explain what happened.
The item was in stock with a Store Quantity of 1. Prior to each shipment my team checks each and every frame to make sure they 100% perfect with no issues or problems. The item you purchased had contained a small crack on the frame and I was not comfortable in sending you this item as it was.
I tried to cancel the order by phone on December 20th 2008. When I made the attempt the receptionist stated she wouldn’t able to cancel my order because a manager is required to approve cancellation. She told me a manager would call me later to speak with me. I asked to be transferred to a manager and she told me she couldn’t. About 4-5 hours later a manager (which Stanley identified was his wife) called and tried to get me to pay shipping from Italy for the glasses I already paid for including shipping and then attempted to sell me on a different product.
Fearing fraudulent activity was occurring, I disputed the charges with American Express while waiting for the call back from the manager due to Décormyeyes.com’s unethical business practices and responses to my consumer concerns.
When Stanley called on December 22,2008 he was extremely upset over the dispute saying American Express is going to put them on their bad list, he was going to be charged $35.00 for the dispute and I am responsible for the $35.00 charge. Stanley asked me several times if I was going to pay for the charge then threatened to give my credit card number to a friend over seas in Bulgaria where they would make $1,000’s of dollars worth of charges and I would have to cancel my credit card due to the fraud. “You’re going to lose your card!” this was a direct quote I specifically remember from the conversation. Stanley used profanity and yelled several times on the phone trying to get his point across.
I know as a consumer profanity, poor business practices, and unethical sales tactics are not a concern for American Express. However a threat of Fraud in an attempt to recover money from a lost purchase is.
Stanley Bolds called again on 12-23-08 @ 10:54am stating he was glad I had to cancel my american express card again using profanity stating he caused me trouble. This guy has serious issues you would be crazy to get involved with this guy. -
Inappropriate?Yesterday this guy Vitaly (Stanley) threatened my life, assaulted me and my husband.
I called police and filed police report. I also filed FBI complaint.
Police said that in case this person tries to contact and threat me again, I should press charges.
Police officer contacted Vitaly/Stanley and let him know that he is in trouble.
I still think I should press charges.
The guy is a gangster, not just crazy person.
I am absolutely sure that he is involved with criminal groups. -
Inappropriate?Hello,
I placed an order on this decormyeyes.com website a while ago, and after reading all these bad comments on the internet and this forum I decided not to pay. I told him I wanted to cancel the order and he replied,
"Have you read our cancellation policy, there is a 20% cancellation charge" .... I told him that that is ridiculous and I won't be paying it, and here is the reply:
"We will now use this email and submit this to collections which will ultimately effect your credit rating.
Please confirm so I know which direction to take."
Any ideas on what to do? -
I told him to go ahead and this is the latest response:
"Legal will be in contact" with my name and address under it. -
I can certainly understand your anxiety over this, but I would let him try to submit it to any collections. I really don't think it can go very far. Try reporting and submitting claims to proper authorities so if you ever do get a mark on your credit report, you can dispute it and show them documentation of fraudulent or attempted fraudulent practices on his behalf. -
Inappropriate?DONT ever buy from decormyeyes.com. Attempted to cancel order several times, he will not refund my money. I put the order on layaway and will not refund any credit. DO not trust them with your money!!!
-
Inappropriate?I am in stitches reading all these comments about that idiot, Stanley Bolds as I HAVE JUST RECEIVED THE BOLDS TREATMENT! Without going into all the details I will just say that everything I have read so far has been entirely in keeping with what I have come to expect from this man. I have spent the whole evening posting warnings about decormyeyes all over th net....pathetic perhaps, but it feels very empowering right now!
I’m glad to know I'm not alone!
-
DITTO !!! -
Inappropriate?I have a huge long story like yours (which I read in it's entirety twice). I'm much too exhausted to go into the whole thing now. But basically I'm an EBAY SELLER that Stanley Bolds/Vitaly Borker/Vito Borker/Carmen Lawrence nearly scammed. I am doing research and have every intention of filing my complaints to all authorities. I would like to collect any aliases known to help protect me from him purchasing anything else in my EBAY store under an assuming name. And.........do you see the comment by K.K.? Think maybe that could be 'Stanley' trying to scare people. Any way you could help would be appreciated.
-
Inappropriate?Well I really wish I saw these threads plus all the scam bulletins on Decor my eyes. I just spoke to the owner...and he basically said "listen i make a lot of money." i dont care! he bascially lost my lens and he said he wasn't going to find them. What a douche bag! I think I'm going to make a site and have it say decormyeyesbeware.com or something like that.....so that when people look for sunglasses...they know not to buy from them. If the Bureau can't do anything....then we need to action....and promote as possible. Perhaps making a myspace....and just writing a bunch of compliants soley on this company.....sooner or later.....the message will get thru. Remember the internet is a powerful tool....you can get soo much advertisement...if you know how to use it!
This site will eventually go down...and hopefully his sales will drop....and he can rot in his misery. -
Inappropriate?****STANLEY*** I know you still read these posts
First of all: IF YOU'RE SO FILTHY "RICH" AND "WEALTHY", THEN WHY WOULD YOU CARE SOOOO MUCH ABOUT A $35 CHARGE FROM AMERICAN EXPRESS, AND SPEND YOUR TIME CALLING THE CUSTOMER YOU SCAMMED $300 OUT OF!!!!!******** If you care so much about $35, how do you think people feel about losing 10 X that!! Oh, wait, you don't care about customer service! To bad for you that American Express has "Customer Service at it's finest"
Second: With all that money you've scammed from people, build yourself a mental institute and PLEASE be the first patient and check yourself in!!! You are seriously not all upstairs with your childish comments and unprofessional business manners that probably takes you hours to think of. I would feel better if the money you scammed me out of went toward locking you up!!!
I have a long story like all the other thousands of people you've rung through the ringer, but I seriously hope you rot in hell/jail and pay for your criminal actions over the many years in more ways than one!!
*****To those that have been scammes like myself, be sure to keep all emails, documents, receipts, shipping waybills, names and all the evidence you can get if you plan to report to any organizations.
*****SEND A REPORT TO THE INTERNET CRIME COMPLAINT CENTRE WWW.IC3.COM *****
We can't let him get away with this!!!! How many complaints does it take to get some action from the FTC, FBI, and IRS????? They've gotta be gettin close.........
I’m not done yet...........
-
Inappropriate? If only i had read this before dealing with this company .... i am having a huge problem with a very rude TONY RUSSO on their sales team , i have returned a pair off sunglasses to them and now i am not getting a credit as promised ,only filthy arrogant emails.
-
Inappropriate?Well polly, we understand your problem. We also are in the midst of a problem with a guy named Tony at Decormyeyes that sends outrageous messages laced with profanity. At this point, I have it logged with my lawyer and have put a stop payment to their company. I would go into more details but have been told to keep quiet for now.
-
Inappropriate?please let me tell you this tony guy is none other than stanley with yet another name !!!!!
-

-
Inappropriate?I just experience this "Tony Russo's" ridiculous and offensive antics. He had emailed me multiple times telling me he had a customer who wanted the sunglasses I had purchased from him over a year ago. I knew not to trust him as he wanted my credit card information to "credit" me for the sunglasses when I sent them back. He kept up with these emails so finally I called the number he had listed on the email and woah...he sure tried to fool me. He swore at me and made sexual comments. I saw right through this and remained calm and continued to ask him to remove me from his email list. After this phone call I did some research, I found out that after making my online purchase with him last year, I had fraudulant charges on my credit card. At the time I did not associate this purchase with the fraudulant charges but now I have to question it. I find it way too suspicious that he went out of his way to contact me with someother reason to get my credit card information and that these fraudulant charges were just a day after I had made my purchase online. This, on top of the sexually explicit and rude comments, pretty much sums it up for me.
In addition, it may be of note to complain to GOOGLE as this horrible website comes up as a sponsored link. You would think google would like to know what type of businesses they are referring to. I guess you can't always trust a Google sponsored site. -
Inappropriate?woowww!!! I literally just made a report with ic3.gov for internet complaints. If anyone see's this please file a complaint with your bad experiences. He has threatened my life and I'm terrified! Lets get this guy out of business for good! "Tony Russo" is a new name for "stanley bolds" I can't believe he's still in business after all these complaints! what does it take to get some satisfaction?
I’m concerned
-
I totally empathize with your situation. I just wanted to emphasize to you not to give him the satisfaction of your fear. I really don't think he has time to even leave his house. He threatens people on a daily basis and couldn't possibly be flying all over the country killing everyone he's threatened to do it to. But your recent situation has given me the motivation to follow up on my responsibility to finish making reports of my experience also. I want to do my part to get rid of this guy. -
Inappropriate?Well, there are about 50 complaints about Tony Russo! This guy is a mentally disturbed person and must be stopped to do business.
I called them and talked to a very unfriendly lady to first make sure they had that particular discontinued frame in stock. She said yes we have it and I gave her my Amex card #.
2 days later I got an e mail from guess whom? Mr. Tony Russo, the so called customer service representative (actually this is not true, as it seems that he really is the owner) He states that this item is not in stock and if he could sell me a pair of RED glasses instead. I respectfully declined. Now he starts sending me more e mails trying to sell me a new pair of prescription glasses for 1/2 off - which I declined.
Next time I checked on my Amex account I see his charge for $114.00 - he should have never charged my account if he cannot deliver the product - period!
This is where the true mess begins: I e mail Amex to dispute the charge - and, after now having read a lot of other complaints - I'm glad I did!
next thing:" My phone rings and Tony Russo is on the line, starting to scream at me that he is in big trouble because of me and if I were in his store right now, I'd be looking worse than after my accident - meaning he would punch my face pretty good. I hung up on him, of course.
Then he sends me an e mail: "You are finished, u hear? You are finished!"
At 11.ooPM he sends me another one:
"How bad was your accident? I wish it was worse I wish you had no legs when you came to." Very nice, right?
Next thing: He calls me: "How far is it from Miami to Naples?" " I am in Miami!! "
..... (to come and get you)
I am going to the Police today to report this harassment and will file a report with the NY State Attorney General office of consumer fraud and protection.
This guy must be stopped.
Please, everybody should report this guy - this time he is messing with the wrong guy! -
I have sent my complaint to the FBI www.ic3.gov Unfortunaly i sent in my Ferrari sunglass ( US280,00 ) to be repaired by this company and now they are saying they did not received the United States Postal Service Priority Mail with Tracking and Confirm that i have the investigation by USPS that the item was delivered . I spoke with "karina" and she told me to give the tracking # to her email ( karina@decomyeyes.com ) BUT this email does not exist. All emails to this recipient comes "undeliverable". So far i sent to sales@decormyeyes.com but no reply. I sent the information to the FBI and if they need i am here to forward all emails that i received by "Tony Russo" telling me to send the sunglass to him to be fixed. Everyone should report this company to the FBI. Please, send your complains to WWW.IC3.GOV .Let's stop this .
