Cannot add Firefox Bookmarks when Delicious add-on Enabled

When I select "Bookmarks-> Bookmark this Page" nothing happens. I've enabled and disabled "Always remind me to add Firefox bookmarks to Delicious" my Delicious add-on preference. But, that has not effect.

In the past, when I added a Bookmark, I used to get a dialog box to modify the bookmark properties and check an option to add it to Delicious. One work around is to use the Bookmark organizer and add it that way. If you are a gluten for punishment, another work around is to disable the Delicious add-on, restart Firefox, use Bookmarks-> Bookmark this Page, enable Delicious and restart Firefox. Neither workaround provides the option to add it to Delicious.

I prefer to keep a handful of bookmarks locally, but it is inconvenient to have to add it to Firefox and tag in Delicious using two separate functions it instead of doing it in one fell swoop.

Is there a way I can fix this or is this a bug? I'm using Firefox 3.08, the Delicious 2.1.034 add-on and Mac OS X version 10.5.6 on an iMac.
