Delicious should support the XFN standard.
It would be great if Delicious supported the XFN standard. This could be as simple as adding rel="me" to the site link at the top of my bookmarks page. Extra bonus points are available if you add rel="friend" to all my network links :)

Hopefully the whole internet :)
The beauty of XFN is that it transcends an individual site. If you look at my profile or contacts on Get Satisfaction, you don't get a very good picture of who I am, or who I know. If you add my Delicious contacts, things become a bit more clear. But if you could add metadata gathered from my entire social graph, spread out over every profile and every site I frequent, you begin to know who I am.
In order for XFN to work, users need to have the ability to link profiles. I can add links to all of my profiles (for example, using a service like Profilactic.com), but this does me no good unless each of those sites allow me to link back, creating a bi-directional link.
If you'd like to see it in action, check out Socialsearchme.com. It is an early stage spider for XFN. Notice that my profile currently contains only the sites which allow bi-directional rel="me" links.
