Access to itunes library on another Mac
Do you have any plans to add a feature to enable Delicious library to access a remote iTunes library on the same network. The reason for my question is I have a laptop with delicious library loaded and I have a Mac Mini as my Media Centre. The Mac mini has my iTunes library. If you are not planning to add this feature in the next 12 months or so then I'll buy some 3rd party software to Sync iTunes libraries so DL can see a local copy of the music/audiobook library.
PS Excellent software. Keep up the good work.

Inappropriate?Paul
When you have itunes open on the same mac as DL2, do you see the shared library? If so, what happens if you open DL2 when iTunes is open in this instance. Personally I'm not expecting anything, just wanted to make sure that it had been tried.
I'd certainly like this feature, I'm heading eventually to get all my music/files on a NAS with itunes support, so this would be very handy. -
Inappropriate?Hi Stu,
Thanks for the suggestion. I can't remember if I tried that initially but I have now. Unfortunately that didn't work. I think DL just looks at the itunes folder on the local Mac. iTunes itself doesn't do sharing properly so it's probably just wishful thinking that DL will handle it. Hopefully Apple has plans to implement proper iTunes database sharing soon, i.e. two mac's pointing to the same itunes database which is on a networked drive.
FYI: Can't duplicate my iTunes database now as my database has grown to 500GB.
