I would love to be able to attach a pdf to an item. I would like to use DL not only for my movies, but to inventory everything. I generally scan all my receipts as a pdf and it would be nice to be able to attach the receipt to the item.

Inappropriate?As long as you put them in URL format, you can link to them from the URL field attached to each item. Click on the item, then the editing tool, and you'll see "URL" as a field in the right-hand column in the details panel.
Double-clicking it will launch the PDF.

Inappropriate?Thanks Terry. This worked like a champ, although I'd love to be able to embed this metadata in the DB so that you could export a backup for offsite storage. Maybe in future releases.
