Can't make Lookup Activity window stay closed offline.

When I'm using the program wihtout being connected to the internet, the Lookup Activity window keeps popping up, looking for updates for entries on Amazon.com etc. I close it, but then it shortly pops up again. I can resize the library so that it doesn't use the full window and the lookup activity window is off to the side, but this is irritating. I can't find any way in the Preferences or elsewhere to prevent this from happening.. Since I normally use my MacBook offline, this is irritating!

This is however one of the funnest and most insanely great programs I've run across since the original Mac in the mid-80's....
