Check iTunes not subscribe?
I tried subscribing to iTunes library but ended up effectively with duplicates (as I have managed to rip many of my CDs the library ballooned to almost 3000 music items)
I have deleted them all (after filtering) but I would rather be able to cross reference (i.e. check that my cds have been imported into my iTunes library and conversely record my digital only copies) against iTunes rather than import the lot
Is there a way to do this currently? or is this a feature you are considering?

Inappropriate?No, we're not considering it, really -- we consider iTunes to be a separate format, and it's a feature to tell which CDs from your physical collection you ripped into iTunes and which you didn't.
If you consider the app as an inventory tool, then it's accurate to say, "I have a version of this CD on my shelf, and also an electronic version." That is, the duplicate is from real life, so it's not a program error to show two versions.
I understand you may have a different view of how you'd want the program to work, but there are advantages to this way, so it's probably not going to change.

Actually, I'd like to take this a step further and be able to link my iTunes albums, Movies, & TV shows to my physical copies. That way I could tell which physical items have been digitized or not. Thanks for your time.
