Delicious Library as Home Inventory App

I've been looking for home inventory software for the mac but there's really only one product out there: Home Inventory by Binary Formations and it is woefully out of date. With a few very minor modifications, I think Delicious could easily fill this gap (in fact, looking at the category types like apparel, tools, etc, it seems silly that you can't already do this). I think you could really sell delicious from a different "financial responsibilty", "insurance proof" or even "business inventory" angle then, and not just the "hey check out my dvd collection" angle. As far as I can tell here are the modifications it would require:

* multiple, full-size photos per item (video would be good too but not required)
* custom categories
* take photos with iSight
* an iPhone companion app would be super handy for delicious in general (and I saw that one may be in production), but being able to walk around your house/business to take inventory (even if it's just still photos) with the iphone camera would be excellent.
* maybe some more reporting options (with values, categories, etc)

I think that's really it. The first two items on the list are the only true must-haves. What do you think? (forgive me if this has already been suggested)
