DL display of items seems very buggy in Snow Leopard
Has anybody else noticed display issues in DL after upgrading to Snow Leopard? Things are very funky for me.

Hi there,
Sorry for the lack of feedback. I've been working on a 2.3 release to fix the graphical glitches and other compatibility issues since Snow Leopard came out - Apple kind of surprised me here, because their explicit contract when updating the OS is binary compatibility with the previous release, and obviously this didn't happen here.
But Apple has been very nice about working with me on this issue, and as of September 11th we have a beta that works much better under Snow Leopard. I've never seen this brown background bug myself (I saw other glitches, though), so I can't PROMISE it's fixed in 2.3 beta, but I'm optimistic.
Please check out the 2.3 beta if you're having the issue and let me know (here or at support [at] delicious-monster [dot] com if you've previously filed a bug with us) if it's working for you.

Inappropriate?I haven't upgraded my system yet, but I'm curious - any Snow Leopard users out there who *haven't* had this issue pop up?
I'll post back after I upgrade myself...
-
Inappropriate? Also, Balthazar, are you running the newest beta? If you go to "About Library", your version should be 2.2 (11510).

Inappropriate?I am indeed running 2.2 (11510).

Inappropriate?I have this problem too, and posted another thread about it. Also sent a bug report directly to Delicious, for which I received an email reply stating that they are aware of the problem and are working on it.
-
Inappropriate? Also experiencing this issue. DL also detected a bug and asked to submit when I added "Snow Leopard" to my library. I agreed to send the bug report, but not sure if it made it into the system, as I did not see any other prompts or indication that everything proceeded as planned. The display bug otherwise does not appear to affect operation of the software.
Running MacBook (Spring 08) with 2GB RAM, 2.1GHz C2D CPU and GMA X3100 GPU.
I’m concerned

Inappropriate?Hello,
I have upgraded to Snow Leopard on Thursday and I didn't have this issue. I use the 2.2 version of DL and the Belgium country settings in SL.
Cyrille.
I’m not concerned by this issue

Inappropriate?Anyone who is having this issue, please send us an email at support [at] delicious-monster [dot] com. I'm tracking this issue, and will be able to contact you about it via email if we have a case number for you.

Inappropriate?I just reported exactly the same problem. Images come and go and blank spots on the shelves appear constantly.

Doesn't solve the problem here ... indeed make it worst as the Delicious Window doesn't even display. The icon is in the dock, I can get the about window, but no main window ... And leaving the About window crash the program.
Below is the output when I launch the program from commande line:

Inappropriate?I downloaded and installed the 2.32.3 beta (v11565) and I no longer have this issue. Fixed for me, but I will continue to test it and report.
I’m happy for the fix
-
Inappropriate?I have just upgraded to the latest Beta Version (2.7) and I am still getting the same graphical issues. I am running it on Snow Leopard.
Any Ideas?
I’m sad
-
Inappropriate?Gingerdave- We fixed most of the graphical issues with DL2 and Snow Leopard, but there are a couple of people for whom it is still broken. After looking into it a little bit, we think it *might* be an issue with coreanimation in Snow Leopard (I'm not able to get it to look that way on my computer), but we aren't 100% sure.
We're pretty carefully tracking this issue, so if you send an email to "support[at]delicious-monster[dot]com", you can get a case number generated and we'll send you updates on our progress with this bug :-) If you decide to do that, let me know what your case # is so I can make sure it gets filed into the proper place to be looked at sooner.
