Feature request = a library of wish-list titles
especially with DL becoming a mobile app, or just the DL iphone web options, it would be nice to be able to store in a wish-list library things that you want to buy. I'm always forgetting titles I wanted to buy and DL seems particularly well suited to have that info with then a simple PURCHASED button to move it over into the real library section.

This is a very common feature request. Our idea is to make a feature that syncs with your Amazon wish list, but unfortunately it's something that will probably have to wait until Version 3. Still, you're being heard.

I agree with Erio. I'm not interested in linking my information with an outside company. I just want to create a wish-list that i can publish for my magnanimous friends.
Thank you.

The idea of a link to an Amazon wishlist is very poor. Not everybody has and wants an Amazon wishlist, and think of the consumers out of USA.

I would like the Amazon Wishlist, as I use it a lot, but I agree that it should have an option of operating independently, without syncing with Amazon. -

Wish list would be useful, a portable version to use while shopping is a must, I've tried generating PDFs but they are Giant (graphics don't downsample or something) but what I'd also like, (maybe one bullet can hit all of these) is for my friends to see what movies are in my collection and vice versa. Deliciweb made an 86meg folder which exceeds my ISP limit. Can it work with iChat? -
they announced a free iPhone widget version of Delicious Library at MacWorld...so soon you will be able to take your library with you (requiring an iPhone of course). nothing yet on wishlists though. -
Inappropriate?Great idea, I would love to be able to sync with my Amazon wishlists (UK and US) at *my* choice. SImilarly for other wishlists such as CD connection, SACD.net
I’m excited

Inappropriate?Great idea. I don't care if DL uses Amazon to pull the data from (as it currently does), but I have no desire to 'sync' a wish list up there. Amazon's not likely to have all the gadgets I want anyway.
I've only been using DL for about 2 hours but am pretty impressed so far.

Amazon recently upgraded it's Wishlist to allow you to add items from any website -
Inappropriate? This is the feature that prevent me to use DL as my primary DVD database. Although I own a license for Delicious Library 2, I bought a competing product that handle a wish list. I now have to do double entries which is a pain...

Inappropriate? Is there any sort of 'wish list' feature where I can input books I'm looking for (for example, i have books 3 and 4 of a series and have been trying to find 1 and 2), and then when I am at the bookstore, I can have that as a reference? Or even, if it's a book that's not published yet (like the next book in a series) I can have it in there and when it's published, I'd receive a notification of that?
I know I could just write it down, but it would be cool to be able to have that all in one place with all my books!

Wish list feature?.

Inappropriate?I created a "wish list" shelf the first day I tested the program on my new Macbook. I "cheated" by placing the "private" box next to the "purchase date" in my scrolling information set-up and using it to confirm ownership of the item listed. My smart shelf displays items where "private" and "played/read" are both "No". A second smart shelf shows items where "private" (owned) is "Yes" and "played/read" is "No"; these are books I have purchased but have not yet had time to read. The only thing that would have been easier would have been if there were a true "Now Own" box so I wouldn't have needed to "cheat". I tried to do something with "purchase date" as blank first, but the logic functions wouldn't sort for "date equals none". This should be added to the smart functions imo.

Inappropriate?l.j.desjardins.nl Has a perfect solution(for now). Thanks! Seriously, it can't be that hard to add an info field called 'wishlist', or just let us create custom fields, can it? Besides creating a field called 'WishList' for us to sort by, if you just had a feature to import it straight into the wishlist, it would be perfect. Worry about the fancy Amazon syncing thing later, but what kept me on the fence forever was the fact that I couldn't make any kind of wishlist that I could store on my BlackBerry, or email to people who wanted to know what books I wanted...
I’m thankful and excited

Inappropriate? How does one, as l.j.desjardins.nl says, "place the 'private' box next to the 'purchase date' in my scrolling information set-up"?
