I would sort the books in different genres or owners or whatever... but they do not disappear in the whole library so I double the book...

Inappropriate?If I were you, I'd make Smart Shelves with genre / owner / etc. as the criteria. -
Inappropriate?s6t- Shelves will always act like an iTunes playlist-- putting an item in a shelf will not remove it from the library, it will just sort it out in a particular way for you.
Fred is correct about making smart shelves-- that will be the easiest way for you to auto-sort your items by genre, creator, category, etc.
