The MLA format requires place of publication (e.g., New York: New York University Press), but this doesn't show up when I export items from Delicious. I don't see a "Place of Publication" field for books. Is there a way to add this?
Why isn't the place of publication imported?

Inappropriate? There's no specific place to put this, but I suppose you can just change the name of the publisher to "New York: New York University Press" instead of "New York University Press".
Hack, yes, but Amazon doesn't have the place of publication anyhow, so you're going to have to edit something to get it to work.

I’m neutral on this workaround

Inappropriate? That's odd. Is the book information coming from Amazon? The MARC format lists the Place of Publication. Is it possible to get information from other sources? If you could add that category in the next version, that would help graduate students such as myself tremendously. Thanks!
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Yes, all our information comes from Amazon at the moment. You could write a script to get supplemental information, but it's non-trivial.
I'll try to remember to add a "Place of Publication" to 3.0... or, hopefully, have used-added fields.
