Unable to access library published to MobileMe
I just upgraded to v 2.1.1, added three disks to my library and re-published it to my MobileMe account. However, when I try to use the "Visit Site" link, I get an error page in my browser stating "We're sorry, but we can't find the Homepage you've requested. ..."
The bookmarked link on my iPhone that previously worked gives the same error. I can see the files on my iDisk, but I cannot access them from a URL.
Is this because HomePage went away? If so, since everyone knew this was coming, where is the fix? And why does the upgrade ask me to download an iPhone app that does not exist in the App Store?

Inappropriate?Roy- What is the URL being generated by DL2 when you publish to .mac?
The reason the iPhone app no longer exists is because Amazon recently asked us to remove it from the iTunes app store. Companies are no longer allowed to display their data on mobile devices, and (since we started using their APIs long before this happened), we didn't realize the change happened and made the iPhone app anyway. This being very recent, we haven't had a chance to release an incremental update without the option to download the app yet. This is something we plan on doing soon.

Inappropriate?Umm, I'd rather not post a link to my .Mac folder in a public form but it starts with http://homepage.mac.com...

Inappropriate? If you'd like it to be private, email us at support [at] delicious-monster [dot] com and then post the case number here.

Inappropriate? What is happening? My son and a friend use my library to borrow DVDs. Except now they can't see what I have. So I have to export to text (sort, incorrectly but better than raw export) and email. This all would be much easier if I just kept the list in OmniOutliner where it started.

Inappropriate?Roy- I'm taking a look at all of our bugs trying to figure out how many people are having issues with homepage.mac.com...
When you go into your iDisk>Sites, do you see the deliciouslibrary folder in there?
-
Inappropriate?Yes, as I noted in the problem statement, I can see the files on my iDisk. They are in the Sites folder.
I’m indifferent

Inappropriate?I would like to add to this with some additional suggestions to your dev team. MobileMe and iWeb has resulted in a new location for the public HTML folders within the iDisk. The old homepage.mac.com has been deprecated for a while. Instead, when publishing to MobileMe, the site should publish to iDisk>Web>Sites>deliciouslibrary resulting in the web address of http://web.me.com/username/deliciousl...
This would also allow for me to use my domain so that I get http://www.mydomain.com/deliciouslibr...
I have a ticket open for this that has yet to be responded to since 07/12/2009

Thanks for your hard work and I hope these sensible changes can be made!

Inappropriate?I just wanted to let you know that I don't have any answers for you quite yet, but you haven't been forgotten. We only have one engineer who is trying to work through the bugs as fast as possible, and will hopefully iron this all out soon.

Inappropriate?Thanks for the update.

Inappropriate? One of the main reasons that I picked Delicious Library was to make it easy to share my DVD collection with family and friends. I have now been unable to do that for over 3 months, which is very disappointing. It seems that I will have move on to a different app.
I’m sad

Inappropriate?Roy- We've been working a lot on making some changes to the web publishing feature, as we still had some bugs in it. We are currently in the beta for a release with many of these fixes, which you can find out more about here. If you wish, you can download this beta and see if it fixes the issue for you. If it *doesn't*, let me know, and I'll try to figure out more about what's going on for you.

Inappropriate? You aren't kidding about bugs. I downloaded 2.3.2, tried to use the Publish pop-up (at bottom) and selected "Configure...". Nothing happens. I even wiped out the preference file and tried again. I had to reinstall my earlier version of the app to get to the "Configure" screen. The application is going backwards. Of course, it is still publishing to the disabled "Homepage", so neither app does me any good.

Inappropriate?Roy- I apologize for the issues you're still having with our program :-(
We're experiencing really big issues with it, and all I can say is that we're still working on getting everything right. If you'd like, you can send us an email at "support[at]delicious-monster[dot]com" to get a case number and be kept in the loop while we're working on this specific issue. It's the bug tracking system our engineer works out of, so that's where you'll get the most direct interaction regarding this problem.
Apologies again, and let me know if there's anything I can do for you.
