Frank:
I'm very sorry you're having this trouble - I know it's no comfort that the vast majority of users were upgraded fine, but hopefully it helps a bit that I'm working full-time on making sure the handful of people (like you) who are having troubles get them resolved.
While I work on this, you can go back to using 2.0.7, I've put a fresh build here: http://delicious-monster.com/download...
Since you can't run Delicious Library 2.1 to file a bug report in-app, can you please manually file bug reports by e-mailing "support@delicious-monster.com"? This will give you case numbers and you'll be promoted to my very short list of people having upgrade issues, so I can work with you both directly to get this resolved. (It lets me e-mail you, and adds you to my to-fix list, which is managed in a different database than this support site - non-optimal, I know!)
I'd need to get a copy of your data files to resolve this; would this be possible? You can upload them to my public iDisk folder (I'll send you the password in e-mail when I get your reports) or we can work out another way to get them over, assuming you have no objections.

Inappropriate?Franck,
We were having some issues with 2.1 et al last night, but have hopefully fixed everything... Is it still crashing for you?
-
Inappropriate? It didn't fix the "Too few items in media" crash, if that's indeed the same as Franck's... (behaviour is the same on 11424 and 11434)
-
Inappropriate? Here is a report : when trying to update (I have 1100 items in Books, music, gadget categories) it firts show up a message "updating fronm 2.0 to 2.1", and then, when the prgress is a 25%, it freezes for 15 to 30 minutes then show up a message "<uncaught> then crashes.
I go back to 2.0.7
Franck</uncaught>
I’m confused
-
Inappropriate?Hrm... I am going to file this in our bug tracking system, and hopefully get back with some more insight.

Inappropriate?I have the same failure as Bernhard ("Too Few Item in Media") although it doesn't seem to crash like for Franck. Running from command-line shows only these messages:
nathanh@Aergia:~/Applications/Delicious Library 2.app/Contents/MacOS$ ./Delicious\ Library\ 2
objc[23430]: Class DAVAdapter is implemented in both /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/DAVKit.framework/Versions/A/DAVKit and /Users/nathanh/Applications/Delicious Library 2.app/Contents/MacOS/./../Frameworks/DotMacKit.framework/Versions/A/DotMacKit. Using implementation from /Users/nathanh/Applications/Delicious Library 2.app/Contents/MacOS/./../Frameworks/DotMacKit.framework/Versions/A/DotMacKit.

And those messages are repeated in Console.
I’m sad
-
I have those lines in Console as well, but it seems they appear every time I start DL, also when I start 2.0.7. (which I reverted back to). -
Inappropriate?Hmm... If you could, try sending your libraries to me at jessie [at] delicious-monster [dot] com. They are located in your home folder / library / application support / delicious library 2.
-
My library is just shy of 200MB. Couple of thousand items. Not really practical to send it via e-mail :-( -
Mine is approx. the same size, but I'll upload it to an FTP server later on. I'll send you the access as soon as I've put it there... -
