Upgrade drama
Help!!! I’ve updated to 2.3 (v11635) and now when I add books (any item) it adds the item but the screen goes to the beginning of that library.. doesn't show where the item is being placed in the Library.. i have to hunt for it...Why?
Is there a way to enhance/ edit the preferences? For instance in my library if I click on a book.. Leave and come back.. I have to hunt for what is highlighted.. The highlight is not strong or vibrant enough. when I add an item the animations don't work..
I don't have Snow Leopard... please help.. this all worked before I updated

Inappropriate?I have the same problems. I'm on Leopard 10.5.8 and running DL 2.3.2.
* The animations for adding items does not appear in the correct spot and do not go away.
* Doesn't show where the new item has been placed.
* Publish menu will not appear.
* At times when I switch to a new shelf view, the view will not change. I still see the previous shelf I was looking at even though the new one is highlighted in the right side. If I click around randomly, I can select items in the new shelf and the details sidebar shows the selected item.
This all happened after the last round of updates. Not sure which one caused it. Is it OK if I downgrade back to 2.2? Right now, things are unusable.

Inappropriate?Jessie, I don't remember. I purchased DL2 on 7/2/09 for our library at work. I didn't start using it until the October. so i don't remember what the original version was. any help you give would be great -
Inappropriate?MrBlank and Cassandra- I'm terribly sorry for the issues you've been having. We've had a rocky transition with Snow Leopard being released, and some big graphical glitches and crashes that it caused.
We're aware of the issues you guys are having and are diligently working on ironing out all the kinks in our software.
If you'd like, you can send us your issues to "support[at]delicious-monster[dot]com" referencing the issues you've been having. What this'll do is create a case number for you, so we can track your issue along with the other people who are experiencing it as well. If you decide to do that, post your case number in here so I can get it filed in the appropriate place.

Bummer. Hope this comes back soon. However, if you need to find the item right quick, immediately scan it again and it'll zip you to the item.
Can't spot highlight easily:
Yeah, it's pretty tough to find if you've a lot of items on-screen at once. If you make the covers bigger, the highlight will also get bigger. Is that doable?

Downgrading:
You can do that if you have a copy of 2.2 lying around. You should be able to safely go back down to 2.1 beta (v11409) (June 1, 2009) although I'm not sure if you'd want to go back to a beta that old. :P -
Inappropriate?I used Time Machine and restored an older version (2.3 v11635). It works fine except the FTP publish randomly crashes.
I'm only on Leopard, so I'll stick with this version until get around to installing Snow Leopard. -
