Will iPhone app continue working?

Will the iPhone app continue to work for those of us that have it? I'm leery of trying to sync my iPod Touch library with my desktop, but I've added new DVDs lately and I'd like to have them in my list. Stores I shop in usually don't have free WiFi, so publishing to the web then looking it up there isn't really an option on the Touch. The iPhone might be better but...
