Will you lose the app if you already have it?
Will the new update remove the iPhone app if you already have it downloaded, or was it only removed from the iTunes store? If you get to keep it, will it still sync your device with your computer?
Considering how Amazon went in and removed books from Kindles, it's possible. (You'd think they'd learn...)

Inappropriate?The answer is if you already have the app, then it still works - I synced my library and iPhone last night without any problems.
As far as I know Amazon does not have access to your iPhone or your iTunes account, so can't remove from your computer.
Kindle is their own product - hence they have the access.
