"Battery is reaching the end of it's usable life"????
Hi, My M1730 has recently started displaying a message each time i go into windows saying "Your battery is reaching the end of it's usable life, please consider buying a replacement".
The laptop is only a year and a half old and has been plugged into the mains the whole time. I have emailed Dell technical support and have heard nothing back. This makes the laptop utterly unsellable if I want a decent price.
I have always gone with dell laptops, but I'm felling pretty unsettled at the moment, seeing as I spent £1440 on this one. What can I do? Please help!

Inappropriate?A laptop battery is only good for a certain number of charge / discharge cycles, and after that it is finished. You can keep using the battery in your dell until it doesn't work at all - ignoring the message. You won't harm your laptop.
When you want a new replacement dell xps m1730 battery, look for the brand upstart battery. They come with a lifetime warranty so at least if you kill the battery again, it will be on them, haha...
a good battery shop: http://www.diggingshop.com . 1 year warranty!
I’m happy
