Inappropriate?sorry, Swochap, but Dell only has a 1-year replacement warranty on their batteries. Looking at your warranty status ( http://tinyurl.com/muf85 ), you're well past that point. New ones are relatively affordable - you can plug in the part number from the back of the battery into Google Product Search ( http://tinyurl.com/22zd63 ) or other similar services and find a competitive price.
