Dell Inspiron 1521 Microphone array not working!!

Ever since i re-installed vista 32 on my laptop the microphone array is not showing up in the device pulldown menu where it should be...I can use external mics but i want to use the built in one again. Is there a special driver or something i can download that will install the integrated microphone? Thanks
