Dell not honoring exteneded Warranty and Contract on design defect

I have an Inspiron 6000. Twice the motherboard had to be replaced because the ac adapter does not stay pluged in to the connection in the back of the laptop. Something happens and the connect losens up. About 3 months ago I contacted Dell support and now they want me to send the laptop in. I cannot afford to be without the laptop for any amount of time. The adapter does not stay connected because the design is bad. That is why on the newer laptops they moved the connection to the side of the machine. My Service Tag is 3WY3981, and my contacts and warranties are:
Complete Care, DELL, with an end date of 9/23/2009.
Next Business Day Support, BSC, with an end date of 9/23/2009.
There is no reason to ship the system there, when this is a know issue. The motherboard should be sent out and a tech should install it like what was previously done. There is no abuse causing this issue.

Thank you, Fred
