Dell Webcam Not Functioning I Need Major Help!! (At Wits End)
My computers webcam quit functioning, I havent switched it off but my computer says I have and I dont know how to turn it back on, I need help
It started when I was using facebook and it accessed my webcam, I made it stop but then it hasnt seemed to work ever since. Everytime I go in it says that the webcam is not connected, even though I NEVER disconnected it, is there anything I can do?

Try reinstalling the Dell Webcam Manager software first.
Go to Support.Dell.Com:
http://support.dell.com/
Click on Drivers and Downloads, enter your service tag for a list of software for your computer. Download and reinstall the Creative Labs - Dell Webcam Manager.

Inappropriate?Run msconfig and in the startup tab remove tick on web cam and restart computer in diagnostic mode. Reboot then go back in msconfig and select nomal mode and restart computer. This should solve your prob.
what happens is that the web cam gets turned off, it could be an obscure program or windows update etc. By running msconfig and removing webcam and then returning it gives the webcam a kickstart and it starts working again
