Inappropriate?Dell has sucked a lot of people in with their deceptive advertising. The XPS 630 has been touted to have far more features than it actually has when delivered. For those of us that purchased this system when it came out we are still waiting for the LightFX 2.0 software you advertised to us, 3 months and counting Dell. That doesn't even touch the many glaring inaccuracies about the technical capabilities of the XPS 630.
I’m disgusted

Inappropriate?I'm unfamiliar with the LightFX software. Is version 2.0 not available right now? Just want to clarify so we know what the problem is. Thanks!

Inappropriate?LightFX 2.0 software for the 630 never existed but was advertised with it. Dell's solution is to provide different software that has less functionality than what was advertised. The XPS 630 was never capable of doing what was advertised with LightFX 2.0. If you want more information about LightFX 2.0 and the other issues with the XPS 630 and Dell's advertising go to www.my630i.com/resources/issues.html.

Inappropriate?Ah, I see. Thank you for this info. Much appreciated. It sounds like there may have been some miscommunication internally between marketing folks, product managers, and perhaps even advertising people -- which might have resulted in some broken promises.
I’m sorry to hear this

Considering the huge amount of evidence against Dell in both false advertising and blatant after-the-fact denial of the evidence, these are insidious business practices; not miscommunication. See the following website for detailed information:
http://www.my630i.com/resources/issue...
Dell is responsible to: 1) apologize to their customers for having lied to them multiple times, and 2) make full amends for what they advertised, and provide those fixes on-site--and at no charge--to their customers. Nothing less than that is acceptable.
