why do the words "cheap, junk and dell" always go together? buy HP desktops and/or lenovo laptops only. just started new job and got dell lattitude. cracked screen opening lid on second day. dell fixed within 24 hrs, so no problem, but this pc won't last. keeping my data backed up for sure

Nice to know I am not alone. Bought a new Dell XPS 1530, paid over 2100.00 for it. It is a piece of junk. Crashes on a daily basis. Dell has replaced the hard drive, and sent it back to their repair shop twice. Still doesn't work. The computer is less than 2 months old and they won't replace it. They did say they would replace it, BUT since it has been more than 21 days they will only replace it with a USED computer!!! So far I have filed a complaint with the BBB and attorney general. Good luck!
